    I am taking Hydrocloro 25mg and Metropol 50mg and have not experienced those effects BUT I also take Oxycodone and have a Fentanyl patch 24/7 so I might not realize to dizziness. Bill

    I applied for an incease in February 2007 and in July my VARO sent me a form for TDIU to fill out and return. I had a C&P in August and my claim was decided in September and I was awarded both the increase and TDIU P&T. I cant imagine having claims take years like I read on here daily. I must be lucky as I have had 5 claims since 1992 and have never waited over a year from start to finish. Bill

    As for Arkansas. The DAV plates are available if one is 100% SC or TDIU. I got the form on this when I received my decision from the RO granting IU Bill

    Billy....I just recently got TDIU and I qualified for Insurance and the VA pays the premium. You should get a letter with all the benefits you will now receive. Bill

    I feel fortunate in that I have never waited over 12 months for a decision and I have had 4 since 1992. My initial claim was processed within 6 months (1992) First Increase was 8.5 months (1997) Another claim for increase 4 months from VARO and BVA was less than 2 years. My most recent was filed 2/07 and decided in 9/07 Bill

    Welcome Christopher- This is a great community. This board gave me the guidance to fight and WIN my claims and I was granted TDIU effective 1 Mar 2007. This is an invaluable resource for any Vet so spread the word!!!! Keep fighting brother. Bill

    Little Rock RO Filed for increase and new condition....02/07 C&P.....08/07 Decision granting 70% for new condition and 100% TDIU.....09/07 I can't complain. Bill

    John Yes. I had a solid case and the C&P examiners tied everything together pretty good. I guess I am fortunate in dealing with the Little Rock office. I have had 5 claims total since 1991 and I have never waited longer than 10 mos for a decision. I have only had to NOD one of those as 4 of the 5 were what my records reflected. Bill

    I had my most recent C&P on 8/14/07 and I received the award last week and it was a fair rating to include TDIU. Alot depends on the RO that you are working with but I have never had any long delays with the Little Rock AR office. Good Luck B) Bill

    You might also consider applying for TDIU due to the pain meds and I would assume you are in a "haze" most of the time. I take Fentanyl and Oxycodone daily and I know I sure am "hazy" and drowsy all the time. Bill

    Congrats!!!! I got the same letter last week and I know it feels great. My letter also stated 'No future exams will be scheduled" and I would think yours would say the same. Bill

    I am just the opposite. VA just gave me an 80% combined rating and 100% TDIU, but SS has turned me down twice??? I give up trying to understand the system and refuse to jump thru hoops for SS any longer. Bill
