HadIt.com Elder Josephine Posted June 11, 2008 Author HadIt.com Elder Share Posted June 11, 2008 WOW! I have not been here alot, and I am so glad you have been connected! I have watched you war with the VA and your struggle to get what you should have got years ago. This has put a smile on my face. Congrads ----------------- Macool Thanks, I am waiting for you to receive your correct rating and your retro also. Remember our claims were so similar. Military Medical Records never acquired by the VA. Earlier effective date with retro also in order for you. Thanks bunches! Betty
hurryupnwait
Betty Congratulations!!!! You made the VA surrender and give up the fight. Rest and relaxation (R&R), then pursue them again. I learned a tremendous amount from you. Your persistence is inspiring. Respectfully, Paul When I count my blessings I count my family and friends twice. If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there. Well done is better than well said.

Rest and relaxation (R&R), then pursue them again. I learned a tremendous amount from you. Your persistence is inspiring. Respectfully, Paul Thanks so much Paul, You inspired me also, more than you will ever know. When the " Country Boy" went to the city this " Country Girl" decided if Paul can do it, she can too. To D. C we went!! I want the 11 years retro pay for my husband, for they knew to pay him and the TDIU with at least the 3 years back pay, since they rated me at 70& for Chronic Anxiety and we will see how long this takes me. Knowing the Huntington, R. O as I do, I am sure they will send me for another C&P. Have a I ever learned a lesson for those examinations. The VA has made me so nervous over the past 4 years, they may have to go back and make some corrections on their ratings. They have succeeded in making me ready for the "Looney House." This time, I probably won't know my name. Thanks again, My " Dear Friend", Betty

A long time in coming, but we as a group showed the VA, it can be done 44 years after discharge. I thank the Lord above and all the members of Hadit and of course T-bird for allowing me to be a member of such a wonderful family. halos2
It is so GREAT when Justice is finally served!! I am not familiar with your case. What were your claimed disabilities? Did you ever get any of them granted previously? I am so glad you perservered and continued the fight. Did you work any during the time you waited? Remember this is for your past and stay in the present and look towards your future and this is your income you got, your retro. This is your livelyhood, guard it. But live and enjoy you lives now and never give up. Kuddo's to you. I was rated at the R.O April 12, 2008 and received my retro check May 16, 2008 and this was for 16 years retro. I did sign up for automatic deposit and my first monthly check will be at my bank this Friday the 30th. I filled out the dependent papers for my husband to receive 11 years of retro and the service manager sent me an email he would start processing it and have a letter to me shortly. I filled out the papers for the TDIU and have already had the Roanoke office date stamp and sent to Huntington for me. I sent an inquiry concerning my NOD 2004 for headaches. I paid off the Mortgage, New Car we purchased last year, paid off the charge cards, and bought myself $3000.00 dollars worth of dolls. Saving the rest. Not much when I got through with it. I did as recommended. I placed it in joint checking acccount at the bank, went the next day had my bank authorize a check in my husbands name and it left my name in 24 hours. I am sorry I have been so late in posting this to all. I have posted it on others site, but not one especially for everyone to read. Believe without the members of Hadit, this would have never happened. I thank everyone, Too many to mention. This was a group win for all. Low- balled Yes, will I get a lawyer later, most likely before the year is up, but laying low at this time. Again, thanks and hugs to all!
