ebgbz
I posted here at the very beginning of my adventure with the VA. I wrote my claim myself and used the AL to assist at the RO for submittals, etc. In Nov. 08, I filed a claim for Multiple Myeloma presumptive to AO exposure. My claim had an additional 8 items that were claimed as secondary or residual and awarded. I recieved "official" notice today...my claim has been decided and awarded. 100% P&T, w/housebound, retro to Nov. 08. My claim was awarded almost precisely for what I claimsed. Only two minor denials and the evidence was clear that those two werenot secdondary What a relief and now we(spouse and me) have a real sense of calm and repose. Moderator pacmanx1 Posted November 28, 2009 Moderator Share Posted November 28, 2009 yup, yup ;) <_< My intentions are to help, my advice maybe wrong, be your own advocate and know what is in your C-File and the 38 CFR that governs your disabilities and conditions. Do your own homework. No one knows the veteran’s symptoms like the veteran. Never Give Up. I do not give my consent for anyone to view my personal VA records. HadIt.com Elder jbasser Posted November 28, 2009 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted November 28, 2009 Great news. Congrats on the house bound also. J A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect. A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served. Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

Moderator broncovet Posted November 28, 2009 Moderator Share Posted November 28, 2009 Congratulations If you agree with the effective date, dont do anything. However, if You applied before your effective date you can still appeal and get more retro.
Berta
WOW ebgbz this is WONDERFUL NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These awards are coming much faster then usual- maybe the VA is breaking new wind---- uhhhh I mean breaking new ground. ;) GRADUATE ! Nov 2nd 2007 American Military University ! When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we." Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.
