e4766
E received the "white envelope" today and we both cried and shook our heads in disbelief. Hooray he got his rating of Individual Unemployability. It's funny that you are happy and sad at the same time isn't it? We began this journey in 2006 never imagining that his AO symptoms would snowball at such a fast rate. Decision was granted back to April 7, 2010 when his afib began. Quote "We granted entitlement to the 100% rate effective April 7, 2010, because you are unable to work due to your service connected disabilities". This was typed below the quote, No further examination will be scheduled in the future. Now we have to wait on SSDI but I think we can manage! I want this forum to know that even though we weren't associated with you all that long this has been a great site as far as information and the patience to answer so-called stupid questions. A terrific group for informational and moral support as well. My hope for everyone is to get what they deserve and to never give up. I really think that "Hope Springs Eternal". Moderator pacmanx1 Posted September 28, 2010 Moderator Share Posted September 28, 2010 Congrats. My intentions are to help, my advice maybe wrong, be your own advocate and know what is in your C-File and the 38 CFR that governs your disabilities and conditions. Do your own homework. No one knows the veteran’s symptoms like the veteran. Never Give Up. I do not give my consent for anyone to view my personal VA records.
Berta
This is GREAT news!!!! GRADUATE ! Nov 2nd 2007 American Military University ! When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we." Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.

HadIt.com Elder jbasser Posted September 28, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 28, 2010 Carolyn it is a natural reaction to have a let down when you win. This entire process keeps you so wired up that when it is over, you have to land somewhere, I personally hit the skids for about a week aftyer I win but I recovered quickly. Youy and E enjoy it. You all deserve it. Dont worry about SSA as they should follow suit pretty soon. See Ya att he Local Va someday. J A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect. A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served. Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.
