Hello Veterans I need help understanding my health record conditions that i have been dealing after i joined the Corps in 1999 and got out in 2003. I filed for claim after i got out of the Corps but was denied due to no medical evidence. I then got engaged and had a GF and a daughter. I started to have problems at jobs kept getting laid off/fired. I finally got a VSO to help me with my claim and submitted to the St. Petersburg RO back in March of 2014. I believe my Pshych Doc at the Va has diagnosed me with PTSD and Schizophrenia. I was in awful MVA on base as i was checking out of the Corps Active Duty and went to the hospital I put a request to get my SMR from all the bases i went to duty for. . Please let me know if you need more information.

VA DOESNT LIKE TO SERVICE CONNECT BACK CONDITIONS.

You may need to try and get some money together and go get a diagnosis from a chiropractor, then submit that evidence to the va. once you get your back service connected, then file for your mental issues as secondary. chronic back pain will surely make you depressed. dont give up. you can win.

chances are being you were almost out of the millitary, they gave you either no diagnosis, or a half assed diagnosis because they wanted to just be done with you.

Best to go through a orthopaedic doctor. The reason I say this is chiropractor usually dont have weight as far as for VA disability purposes. An orthopaedic doctor can look at your main problem for back problems. They can also recommend physical therapy which if you dont respond to the therapy, it can work in your favor. A chiropractor will do heat therapy and pop your back or what they call realign your back. I put in a claim for mmy back and used chiropractor, and orthopaedic and found more leverage with orthopaedic. Also with mental, its best to get a psych doctor that is a specialist in combact veterans or ptsd. Also got to the VET CENTER because this is what the VA psch recommended for me and all they focus on are usally combat/ptsd VETS. JMHO.

hello hadit members i just received a call from the VA a man stating he wanted to make sure that they have all my medical records. He went over with me when my MVA accident back in 99 and they have the medical records. The thing that i do not understand is that he told me they will be making a decision in a few days. I do not understand because i have not had any VA examinations for my Health or Mental Health i had a exam for my eyes and hearing but that is all. Today i called the VA and i spoke to a lady and she told me sometimes they do not need C&P exam for mental health and health to make a decision on my claim. Can you please give me your thoughts or is this a stallemate that the VA does since i have not been scheduled for those 2 CP exams to determing my sevice connection percentage? Thank you.

Glad to hear the claim is finally moving bud. It is really hard to say bud, but in my case I have had a few Important Conditions granted without an Exam. Really just don't know what to say, without the official paper work. Good luck and keep us posted. God Bless
