0 asheth007
I wonder if the list and reasons are public. The link says 4 executive level employees and the rest are low level employees like pharmacists and mail clerks. Pharmacists are causing rescheduling and mail clerks too? Sounds like they are th fall guys/scape goats who probably helped but acting on orders.
0 In Memoriam Stretch Posted November 9, 2014 In Memoriam Share Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) Thanks for teh heads up berta, Time and Time again there are pharmacist that steel drugs and start their own business, but they have to find a good mailing clerk to mail the stuff out. These guys have been caught ant procecuted many times. It is hard to believe they just move them around, because the union keeps their jobs for them. Edited November 9, 2014 by Stretch StretchJust readin the mail Excerpt from the 'Declaration of Independence' We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity

0 HadIt.com Elder jbasser Posted November 9, 2014 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted November 9, 2014 It will take the folks at some VAMC's and Regional Offices an hour and a half just to watch 60 minutes. J A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect. A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served. Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.
0 asheth007
Just watched the segment! I was shocked! I am new to the VA system and I didn't realize it was so bad. The one with the patient hospitalized for 8 years for a mental health condition and nobody made him an appointment. That's ridiculous! The secretary came to tears at the end I was moved, but General Shinshiki was well known and was well liked by many member of the military and he was active so it's hard to take that at face value. So the reform plan looks like a 1 year goal for complete reform. Streamlined website which I am confused by because it's healthevet, e-bennies, and caregiver program and ???. Those are the ones I know of. Hopefully congregating to one site and moving information doesn't cause more problems. Faster benefits processing and health care seems to be in the works. His reform plan is unveiled tomorrow.

I was impressed, as he seemed sincere and doesn't seem politically motivated. Obviously, he doesn't need the money, so I think he really wants to help and that's what we need. Time will tell!! jmo

I liked what I heard. That being said: The VA consists of we Unfortunate Souls (US) and The Heavily-Entrenched Mafia (THEM). They benefit from keeping things The Way They Are and They know the VA'
