Yeah I agree Broncovet...I was surprised to see that and never click on anything like that.

BTW the scams out there are pretty rampant this time of year in email.

They look like they are from Coscos, Walmart etc etc and they are messages asking you to verify the order you made or they say someone ,with your same credit info, ordered something...

They just want people to click on their bogus link which can also be contaminated by viruses, worms, etc etc....

I still cannot figure out why, when about a year ago there were 2 of us widows at hadit discussing her DIC case and we both got hit with the same internet threat.more than once in a 3 day period.

No one else here got the threat and luckily we both had the same Avast and anti malweare security on our PCs.

I was pissed. Us widows sometimes get enough threats and BS as it is.

Death brings out the worst in people , not here at hadit , but people we might know well...like neighbors , and unfortunately many people think a bereaved survivor

can be used.

These internet fishing reels are pretty good. They will dangle bait from post with your bank on it saying you need to stop fraudulent use of your account by going to such and such a site. The emails with warnings that your computer is infected with worms, malware are also slick. If you open the attachment you will have a virus attack.

This weekend is the most dangerous time of the year for cyberattacks. I used to do all my shopping online during this time but have chosen to not do so for safety reasons. I finished all my shopping in September for all 11 grandkids and 2 daughters and son-in-laws. They are bagged, tagged and I can sit back and enjoy Christmas movies.

It shocks me to see people acting like bullies on TV ,to get those in-store Black Friday deals.

I still shop on line a little but only where I have shopped before...like on Amazon.
