I wish my hearing loss was rated as such, but unfortunately that's the one item the VA decided was not service connected. I hope that you have better luck. I know the feeling. I am still waiting as well. I received my letter from the VLJ in my favor on June 8, and still have not seen anything on ebenefits. I am in the last stage, complete I think.

My understanding is that the VA will reimburse costs you paid for work, if a condition is found to be s/c.
