diabetes Dm Ii Question
I am trying to upgrade from 20 % to 40 % on my diabetes mellitus. While reading 38 CFR, part 4, it states "Requiring insulin, restricted diet, and regulation of activities". Can anyone tell me exactly what "regulation of activities" means? Where can I find a reference/information as to what is meant by that? I guess I am looking for examples etc. Thank you all.

Aid & Attendence
Greetings to all, a couple of weeks ago I received a letter from my VARO informing me that I qualify for A&A. I needed a letter from my wife and from my primary VA doctor. I got my Dr.s letter the same day and faxed them both to the VARO. NOw they told me yesterday that my claim is now with attendence & DIC. What is attendence and DIC? the VARO rep didn't even know why my file was there. I am currently 100% T&P +SMC (Level 18 what ever that means) I have 5 dependents. How much is aid and attendence? and what should I expect from the VARO in this issue? I do thank you all and God bless. Bound4Heaven

ptsd Email I Was Sent
This was sent to me in an email and I'm just passing it on. I do not attest for it's validity. carlie ************************************************************** Yesterday I released out information that the Institute of Medicine, who is on contract for the Veterans Disability Commission, has stacked the deck with their newest appointment of a 30-year lifer of a VA agency type, who (in small print) was also a Veteran. Today I am giving you the information to put on an organized opposition effort to this matter. The LINK below will take you to the slide page which the IOM themselves used at the July Commission session announcing the new V…

Terry Higgins
Men and women - our dear veteran Terry Higgins- whose posts have tremendous value to me- told us some time ago as to how he got something resolved with the VA by sending them a copy of a page from the VBM (NVLSP) Yesterday I wrote and asked the RO to CUE itself on a decision they made on my main claim. I had forgotten that -in my years of relationship with VARO- I got them to do this 3 times in the past- I stated the regs they broke and was going to explain it to them like they are ten years old- (their significant error) but on page 1307 of the 2005 edition of the VBM, NVLSP had stated it all. My request for them to CUE themselves was very brief-and I hi…

Dro Review Question
My POA's head bigwig claims there is no record of a meeting my vet rep had with my DRO. The vet rep told me he specifically called her The DRO)'s attention to my two IMOS (Dr. Bash and Dr. Rabiee). The SSOC they sent me stated there had been an informal meeting between the DRO and my vet rep. NADA mentioned in the SSOC on the IMO evidence which cost me 2 thousand bucks- NADA on the other medical evidence I sent in numerous submissions- and of course none of the medical evidence or IMOs were listed as evidence. MY vet rep called me to tell me the he discussed the IMOs with the DRO. I hate phone calls because they are not hard copy. Yet my POA has no…

Which Vet Association
Hello I am a disabled Gulf War Veteran who is trying to decide which Veteran Advocate association is recommended in support of my claim with the VA concerning a claim for a service connected disability in the 1991 Gulf War? I am currently utilizing the VFW here in NW Florida to represent me when dealing with the VA. I have become very disappointed with their service. The VFW here only contacts the VA after I request from them an update on my claim. Their office, the VFW, has told me verbally several times that want me to never call the VA directly. But when I request an update from them also asking if they had called the VA they say they have no update and that have not …
