Dro Letter
Department Of Veterans Affairs VA Regional Office 210 Franklin RD Roanoke VA 24011 Attention xxxxxxxxx-In reply to 314/21/ Dear Sir 1,I received a rating decision dated 10 April 2006. Consider this letter to be an official “Notice of Disagreement” (NOD) regarding the following disability. I am requesting a DE NOVO review by a new Decision review officer. I wish that the new Decision review officer use Sec. 4.3 Resolution of reasonable doubt. It is the defined and consistently applied policy of the Department of Veterans Affairs to administer the law under a broad interpretation consistent, however, with the facts shown in every case. When after careful considera…

General Dumb A-- And His Ssdi Review
I am sending one email per day to the commission. In my quest I would just like for my fellow vets to comment on this. From their web site: The purpose of the Veterans' Disability Benefits Commission is to carry out a study of the benefits under the laws of the United States that are provided to compensate and assist veterans and their survivors for disabilities and deaths attributable to military service, and to produce a report on the study. The only laws that cover this is those developed for the VA. SSDI was developed for all taxpayers. The reason it has an I at the end is because it is a "payment required" insurance program. No payment, no insurance. …

Military Vs. Va Rating
If the military places you on TDRL with a 50% rating, does the VA also have to rate you at 50% or do they have different ratings for the same disability? Thanks, sbrewer

Just got the results of my NCV/EMS test. Findings were, right median neuropathy at wrist (CTS) mild severity, right ulnar neuropathy at elbow mild severity & chronic bilateral C6-T1 cervical radiculopathy. I need help deciding how to file, I am currently 10% arthritis of the wrist, 10% residuals of trauma to right shoulder and 0% for residual of trauma to right elbow. I previously filed for cervical radiculopathy, but was deined, they said I had not been formally diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy. Should I file for these separately or should…

Might Have Screwed Up On My Nod
I think I may have screwed up badly when I sent in my Notice of Disagreement. I noted that I disagreed with the decision but only address one issue. Now I feel like a dunce! I've written up a ammendment/attachment to send. Will that preserve my rights to address those issues or have I lost my chance?

Ever Wonder Why The Va Is Outsourcing Our C & P Exams?
fwd: Ever wonder why the VA is outsourcing our C & P exams? Hi to all, I posted some issues on why the VA out-sources our C & P exams and some of the alleged issues of impropriates in not only "contracts" but also "contact" after the C & P is complete between the VA and the supposedly "independent doctor" with published changes after the VA contact which changes the Veterans disability. Not exactly what I would call cricket but we are after all dealing with the Veterans Administration and an "honorable Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary." http://www.2ndbattalion94thartillery.com/C...utsourceC&P.htm By th…

hypertension Hypertension
I am rated for tinnitus 10%, loss of hearing 0% and MDD at 50%, (claimed as post traumatic stress disorder, sleep disorder and night sweats). My question is on the high blood pressure. First a little history; in 1962 while in the service I had the pleasure of spending some time in the Trippler mental hospital with some very serious problems. When I got out of the service I ran like hell away from the service just as fast as I could. Not knowing I could receive any help from the VA. In my service files there is no B/P checks of any kind. While in the hospital the service gave me Librium without knowing what my B/P was. My point is I want to file a claim for hypertension an…

Primary Care Dr.
My husband is very upset with his primary care dr. for many reasons 1. about his toe problem 2. she seems to think she is not only a medical dr., but more importantly a cardiologist and phychiatrist. and most recently today actully he really needed his nitro(he was having chest pains and so forth) and he sees a cardiologist on the outside (thank goodness) who prescibed him nitro and plavix, he took these prescriptions to the people at the desk to hand in to the dr. for filling and they gave him a form for his cardiologist to fill out and fax in. That is what he was told to do and that is what we did. He e-mailed his primary care dr today and she sent him back a diff…

ptsd Varo's Constant Denials
Just received from VARO another denial (2nd) of my Supplemental Statement of the Case (SSOC). I've been diagnosed by C&P doc's and VA mental hyg. doc's with Chronic PTSD. I've submitted statements from Senior NCO's and even my Commanding officer (Maj at the time) of the strssers and circumstances. But the RO says that all the evidence is credible but the stressors aren't researchable. What ever happen to the "Reason of the doubt" section in VA policy. Anyway, I've been avised by other vet's here at home to stop being jerked around by our local RO and to forward my appeal to the BVA. According to them BVA would most likely be more beneficial. What do u vet's a…
