Compensation Exam Experience
Result of rereading very old exams and decisions, found some notes to self because I felt the exam was manipulative and recorded selective comments. Throughout the exam doctor spoke in varying speeds. Example, when doc was physically examining knees, control of conversation was done by speed, slow or fast like rapid speak delaying feedback from me the slow thinking patient, until 20 questions were asked. The report reports some things and not everything said 'veteran says they leans on right leg when left leg and ankle swells' and doesn't mention the pain I of SC right leg. True, the right leg is SC already the left leg is not even rated NSC but needs to be. Note t…

Secondary Condition
Ok, I have cervical radiculopathy that is SC and now I found out that it is making my carpel tunnel syndrom worse. As a result I now have to have carpel tunnel surgery. My question can I file for secondary connection of "non service connected" carpel tunnel syndrom secondary to the cervical radiculopathy. I spoke to my neurologist and he wrote me a "nexus" connecting the worsening condition to the cervical radiculopathy. Thank you, Bergie

Vbm Advice For Asthma Claim Increase?
Does anyone have any VBM advice regarding asthma evaluation and rating? I am working on a claim to increase my asthma rating from 10% to either 30% or hopefully 60%. Any additional advice regarding how to make my claim airtight and denial-proof is greatly appreciated. I am interested in buying a VBM eventually, but cannot afford it at this time, as I am saving up to pay for a couple of IMO's. Thanks!

lumbosacral Changing My Classification From Lumbosacral Strain To Ivds
I was told that I should file a claim changing my classification from Lumbosacral strain to IVDS by one of the poster on the site. My questions are how should I go about doing that and will that hurt my "secondary issues" associated with lumbosacral strain? Thanks to all who help out.

I Need An Opinion
I haven't had much to do with the VA for 30 years. I never thought I would need to be looking at a rating increase. Here goes: I was sent to a medical board in 1978 after 6 years of service in the Air Force. I had crushed my ankle and had 3 surgeries while on active duty to repair it. Left the AF with 20% rating at the VA and went on with my life. Today, I am much much older (59) and the old bones have decided it was time for them to give me grief. My ankle is full of arthritis and I also have a mal-union of the tibia and fibia as a result of the original facture. Hard to believe I have had this all these years and only now is it keeping me from walking too far…
