Negative C&p Exam - What Next?
My C&P examiner stated on her report that she did not find objective evidence to support a diagnosis of claimed illness. Will this report cause my claim to be denied even though my neurologist reports I have the disease?

diabetes C&p For A Bunch Of Things
Did my C&P for a bunch of stuff but have not heard back yet. Do have some questions. During the ENT part the Doc's found a polyp on my Vocal Cord and have since removed it. The C&P was for sinusitist, Do I have to make a seperate claim for that or will it get included in the C&P results they send in to be rated. Also was told I have degenerative Disc disease. Had put in for Back Pain. How does that play into things. Was already diagnoist with type II Diabetied during a VA physical and claimed that. (Agent Orange) Also was told my sleep study folks that I have restrictive breathing (not apnia) and restless leg syndrom. How are those clasified. So last questi…

ptsd C & P Exam
I received a letter from the VA (Houston) that states they want to schedule a C&P exam to see what my current physical health is, but they also want to do another exam for my PTSD (currently 30%). I can understand the physical part which is related to my agent orange issues, but did I piss someone off at the VA to get reexamined for the PTSD? PAPA

C & P Physician Specialty = Pediatrics?
Appealing a denial and got an appt thru QTC (Seattle). The physician is a Dr. Mark Magdeleno who is listed as a pediatric internist. I assume that since these exams follow the questionairres available here http://www.vba.va.go...ms/disexm34.htm that they simply pull from a pool of local physicans they have on contract. Can't say it builds much confidence in the result. Any suggestions/experiences that might help? The shoulder was injured on active duty (tendonitis) & treated by PT (late 80s/early 90s). Since then was in an auto accident (2003) that resulted in whiplash (therapeutic massage & PT again for shoulder & private dx of thoracic outlet sy…

ptsd Please Help...ptsd Question
I have just returned home from my 6th tour since 9/11 a few months ago(4 w/ USMC and 2 with Army). As time has gone on, I notice that stuff isnt right, and things have changed. I have alot on my mind about stuff I have done and seen. I am currently employed in a civilian job, as I am in the National Guard for the military side, and my civilian job has good ins. So with that, my question is this. If I were to ever lose my job for whatever reason, and I was being treated for PTSD, what would be the best way to go about doing things right now, so I could make a service claim in the future if I had too? Should I go to a civilian doctor first, get diagnosed, and then ta…

tdiu Dro Appeal For Tdiu Denied Then Mh Diagnosis Changed
Hi All, I'm a newbie that was sent here by my brother-in-law. He received a tremendous amount of help from Berta on his TDIU claim and was eventually successul - so on his behalf I thank all of you for helping him and hope you can now help me. I am currently 60% SC. October 2008 applied for TDIU. Initially upfront denied because I did not meet schedular requirements of either 70% SC or one SC rating of 40% or higher. (I am 30%, 30% and 10%) I appealed to DRO, she ordered new C&P's. I have been receiving treatment through the VA for the last 2 years for my 30% SC Depression rating. Having not had a C&P for the last 20+ years, the DRO thought it likely …

diabetes C&p Exam Question
I am hoping you can help me. I had my C&P exam today for Parkinsons . The nurse called me later in the day, leaving a message, asking for my retirement date. I am now collecting SSI as of Dec 09 when I turned 65. Before this I was on SDI (disability) for a back injury. For a presumptive disease such as Parkinsons is my "retirement date" relevant? I currently am 40% SC for diabetes and neuropathy. I have a claim in for estemic (sp) heart disease also and have never been asked this question. I am worried it may effect my results and I really need the aid and assistance portion of the benefits.

ptsd Route To Make A Winning Claim...
I am looking to get some services for PTSD while in Fallujah when I was with the Marines, and a couple of deployments since with the Army. I have put it off for a while now, not wanting to be a wuss, but there is something wrong or missing in my life here. My question for you is this, how would you recommend I go about this? Should I see a civilian doctor, have them diagnosis me, and then go and try to make a claim? Or should I try to make an appointment for a VA doctor, have them diagnosis me, and then go to make a claim. Does it matter? I just want to do it right. I am not looking to get rich by any means; I just want to get it right making the claim and not getting …
