ptsd No Exam
How can the VARO deny a claim without a C&P exam. Can someone tell me!!! They are so heartless, and truely do not care about veterans (not that this is anything new). I am already struggling with PTSD and suicidal thoughts and then this. At this point I guess I just need to talk to someone. I left Iraq in 2003 with swelling in my lower legs documented on my "post deployment health assessment", Gulf War registry exam and several other doctor visits. The funny this is, I was told it was caused by the heat and would resolve in 3-4 months. Well 6 years later it's still their but worse. I have no diagnosis for it but have narrowed it down to venous insuffiency on …

C&p Exam Coming Soon
Hello everyone! Well I got a letter from the AMC that an exam had been ordered to resolve my case. Hope it's soon. Talked to my DAV rep who told me that it seems that the AMC has all the evidence they need, but I'm still digging! He felt like the exam would be in a couple weeks. Anyone have any suggestions, or things I should be aware of before taking this exam? The issue is service connection for back injury, Degenerative Disc Disease. Been on SSDI since June 2000. I appreciate anything you have to offer, Blackbird

Copy Of C&p
Had 3 C&P scheduled at the first of this month, all with VA contractors, scheduled by QTC. Do I request copies from the VA or can I get them directly from QTC?

Copy Of Cp
I requested a copy of my QTC exam today when I called the 1800#, I was told that doing so would slow down my claim. Can anyone give me advice on whether I should wait or get a copy now? Thanks.

ptsd C&p For Tbi And Ptsd Today
Had two C&P exams today the first for TBI. The exam started with the A_hole neurologist trying to tell me I probably dont have a TBI because it is not in my SMR. (even though i am diangnosed from the VA, built a nexus to the event, and am seeing a behavioral neurologist regulary at the VA who reccommended i apply for benefits.) After him telling me that we went through about a 35-45 minute evaluation and before i left he vaguely referenced that i may have a phych disorder and not tbi. Now i am already service connect at %30 for adjustment disorder (I claim PTSD) so i know i have a physch disorder what does this have to do with my TBI. After that i had a C&am…

ptsd C&p Exam Results Vs. Raters Decision
Hi all and thanks so much fro being here for us. Spent my time in the USAF 67-68 at the Dong Ha Marine Combat Base 6 miles from the DMZ. Just received a copy of my C&P for PTSD from Mar '09. It states - Axis 1: PTSD - Axis 5: GAF 55. On pg. 15 it asks: IS THERE TOTAL OCCUPATIONAL AND SOCIAL IMPAIRMENT DUE TO MENTAL DISORDER SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS ? ANS: yes. Then the narrative below says: "Veteran becomes hypervigilant and experiences flashbacks in the presence of people and is afraid of going out from fear of getting these symptoms he does not go out to socialise with people, stays home, gave up leisure activities, isolates himself and stays home mostly. He ca…
