C&p Results From Va Doc
I got my latest results from a c&p exam that was conducted on the 16 june but I cant figure out if it is a good c&p or bad or neutral, anyone please help me with his wording, and any idea what a rater would think of the way it is stated. OPINION: In my medical opinion, sleep apena, headaches, arthromyalgia, and shortness of breath are as likely as not (50/50) related to his period of service. Rationale for opionion given: SMR reveal some of the symptoms of complex arising in service. Congitive testing by BH will be required to form an opionion on memory loss. Other comment: The veteran's panalopy of conditions: sleep apena, headaches, fibermyalgia, respir…

Got 3 C and P appointment letters today, . 2 for the Heart, the first heart is standard C&p the second is for METS or treadmill test. How ever the questionary for C&p for the heart, state that if you have a measured left ejection rate of 50 or less, no Mets are needed. I presented this info with my claim. The question is should I call and question the second C and P or present the info to the Dr. at the first Cand p for the heart? or at the second so the Dr. get to charge the appointment, Do not want to piss her off?

Iris Reply
This is part of IRIS reply question good or bad or just a standard reply? Our records indicate that both your claims are both conditions on your current claim for increase, we are showing that all development is done on this claim. If the rating board does not have enough evidence or they feel an examination for these two conditions are warranted at that time they will return your case to the development stage and request an examination to be made. Thanks Ken1

ptsd Results Of Ptsd C & P Not Satisfactory
My PTSD C & P was 2 weeks ago. I got a copy of it and the examiner said that the impact of PTSD on my life was mild and my problems are more likely than not related to personality problems. I'm preparing a response to deliver to the VRO on Monday. Here's one of my comments: " Many people go to therapists for years seeking help to deal with their problems. I don't believe that a psychiatric examiner should make concrete decisions about an individual's mental status based on a 45-minute evaluation. This gives undue weight to individual questions which might be answered differently if rephrased." I'm addressing each item that I disag…

Please Help Explain These 2 Iris Responses
I really wish I would have found this site prior to going for my C&P exam. Anyway, I have submitted 2 IRIS in the past few months and these are the two responses I have received. I am correct in that it is my understanding that my file is sitting in a pile waiting for a rater to review it? Any help in terms of the next step and about how long it could take from until I receive a decision would be greatly appreciated. My claim is being processed through the Detroit, MI location. Thanks! 1. Your claim was sent to the rating board on May 20, 2009. The results of your examinations were recorded on your claim and your claim was sent to the rating board. 2.…

Received My Decision Today, But Have A Question...
Hello! I just returned from a short vacation and in the pile of mail was my decision for the initial claim. The claim for my left ankle, left knee and lower back. I received 10% for ankle, 10% for back, but the knee was deferred. What exactly does that mean? Was I denied SC for the knee or is it going to be review by another dept? I'm new to this whole thing, so any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ptsd Qtc Ptsd Exam
On July 9th had had an examination by a Psychiarist to be evaluated for PTSD. The VA wanted to see what level I was. The first thing the Doctor noticed was my tremling hands. He asked how long or when did this start. I told him during my military service. I told him that I take medication for my shaking, but it only helps alittle. After, a few more questions, he got into my sleep pattern, told him that I do not have a pattern. I told him that I have never been to sleep prior to 1:am since I left the military. I must check all the windows and doors, and every one in the house must be asleep first. Also told him that I must wear a CPAP machine to get at least 4 hou…

C@p Doctors Exam Reports
In 2006 I had a C@P exam done for a increase on a compensation claim. The Nurse practional noted a laxity on a ACL operation I had in 2000. The rating result was they increased my service connected % from 20 to 30. In June 09 I had another C@P exam for IU and the neurologist stated he did not notice a laxity in same ACL. I know these conditions do not magically heal themselves but wondering If VA will not take into account the latest EXam results. If anyone on this very helpful forum has experienced same sure would like to hear about it. Thanks too all that protect our freedom.

Airborne
I agree that most of my SC ratings comes from the C & P doctors accepts my VA doctors opinions so I am very lucky. I just got a copy of my latest MRI which is pending SC. My C & P exam was on June 19, 2009 and my VCAA was not due to June 26, 2009. I wanted to wait and send in the new evidence so now VA should review it and request another C & P or return it back for a medical opinion on the new evidence. I know it will delay my claim for development of new medical evidence but I am OK with that. Getting a copy of your MRI report should not delay your rating and the VAMC should process your request. If they don't try going to the patient advocacy office, and te…

C@p Exam Results
First this is a excellent tool to help us old veterans manuver thru the VA minefield thanks too all. OK my question is my Doctor statements B) "Based on review of the service medical records, and current examination findings I feel it is most likely that the veteran is unable to currently engage meaningful employability secondary to service connected conditions". Has anyone seen a statement like this. Also on the bottom there is another :) "Unless otherwise stated in Addedum to Joint,Feet and Spine worksheets:this C@P report, no painful motion was objectively noted and on repetitive testing range of motion values were unchanged from baseline testing without pain, fatiqu…
