Please Help - C&p Conflict
I need to know if there is anything we can do? My husband has numerous claims in. He is currenly only s/c for 1 of those conditions which took 3 yrs & finally being sent for C&P with a specialist to get. He had several C&P's with a certain NP. They are always very bad (basically all said there is nothing wrong with him & it is all just his subjective complaints) all C&P with this NP have resulted in denials of his claims. His last time it was ridiculous. It was grossly inaccurate - she did not have the c-file & the report looked like she mixed up records with another persons file - as it was so inaccurate & contradictory. We sent a …

C&p For Knee Problems
I am 10% SC since '96 for right knee pain. My right knee has continually gotten worse over the years and my left knee (according to my VA doc) is now in as bad of or worse shape than the right. I have filed for reevaluation of the right knee for an increase and for 2ndSC on the left. What, besides a lot of waiting, should I expect from this process? Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

ptsd What Do You Think About My C&p
Well the long awaited notification for my PTSD C&P finally arrived but I must say Im worried here's why....What do you guys think? I have 2 IMOs stating I have PTSD as I said my VA exam is on the 19th schedlued through QTC with a Dr Ashok I Khushalani, I looked him up and his specialties is Pediatric/Adolsent Psychiatry, and he went to school in Bombay! My concern is of course QTC and the experience of the Doctor involved. I have also been told that QTC will not provide the Doctor with my medical records. What do you guys think I should do.....if anything, Im just real uptight about the whole thing!

C&p Evaluation Done By Private Physicians Why?
Hello to everyone Recently I submitted a C&P evaluation for bilateral knees problem, remember I was at 10% and some crazy VA C&P Dr. discovered the cure for degenerate joint disease and requested that I be downgraded to 0% which VA did. I also requested a new C&P for TBI because I was never told that I could qualify for such compensation, not even my VSO told me. Now VA is sending me to get all my medical test but at a private facility with private doctors, they are even giving me a big $28 for my travel to that location. Anyone know why VA is taking this step and why they are not sending me to the VA Hospital? Any advice? Today I went to get…

C/p Exam Always Rates Me Very Low
Hey I got this problem. I always get the same Nurse Practioneir (who thinks he is a doctor LOL) who on several occasions has low balled me on every ocassion where I had to appeal his descions. I am asking for a rate increase on a SC injury that has gotten worse. What are you guys thoughts how do I bypass this thorn in my side? I do not know how to aviod this guy as he has even shotdown the VA nuero Surgeon whose opinion was that my knees where a result of my service injuries. Any thoughts as I have to submit this soon. I know that there are rules that they judge us on and ROM are factors but this guy is a machine when it comes to my cases. Adios and take care.......

Upcoming C And P For General
Whelp after filing my claim last April, thru my VSO, I had my hearing c and p a few weeks ago and just received my general physical c and p at Winston Regional VA outpatient clinic. The one problem i have is the fact that I got the letter on Thursday Nov 20 and the appt is for Tuesday Nov 25. Of course I won't skip it or try to change the date as the letter itself states it could be months to re-schedule a new exam. I am still waiting for the mental c and p to be scheduled. I am so glad to finally being able to show the effects of being in the USMC light infantry can do to your knees and back and a few other parts of your body. I can live witht he knee pain, but the ba…

Va/ Pilot Program Rexaminations?
-first time post I am a ANG going through the VA pilot program 2.5 years after the title 10 discharge was issued after returning from Iraq. Once discharged from title 10 I was placed back on title 32, but after VA medical examinations was placed on a permanent non drilling profile. I am currently rated at 90% service connected and 100% IU by the VA, highest rating being 70% . Recently the ARMY has placed me in the Pilot program for the MEB, the pilot program is suposed to streamling the process of disability ratings between dod and the VA, by basicly using the VA rating for both programs. I am going through the process backwards, I have my existing rating with the VA, bu…

Deferred Decision
I was looking through my paperwork and I notice that on my last C&P decision I have a statement that reads: "We have deferred a decision on the folowing issues because we need additional information or evidence:" one spuring of LS and L4 with degenerative changes and lower back pain secondary to degenerative joint disease Scoliosis, lumber spine with lower back pain secondary to head trauma This was in December 7, 2007. Should I do something about it or just wait like always for VA? Izzy
