Question On Denial Letter Wording.
Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000105 EndHTML:0000002984 StartFragment:0000002292 EndFragment:0000002948 Just a question about some wording in my denial letter for IU. The letter ends with the statement: "The VA examiner indicated that your service connected conditions do no prevent you from securing or maintaining gainful light duty employment, including sedentary employment." I've looked through the forum as best I could but could find nothing about "gainful LIGHT duty employment". Is this a common phrase? Thanks

tdiu Tdiu
I need some good advice from someone more knowlegeable than me. I am currently rated at 90% SC. I plan to retire in the next several months due to my ill health. Should I apply for Voc Rehab before I file for TDIU so it will hopefully help the claim or go ahead and file for Voc Rehab and TDIU at the same time.

Employment Questionnaire
I couple of days ago I saw a post which I can't for the life of me find now. It stated that it is now time to send in your annual employment questionnaire if your are on IU. I have always been under the impression that VA form 21-4140 is to be submitted around the time of your award. If I am mistaken I would very much appreciate someone correcting me. Is the form due around the first of the year or around the time of your award? The only info I find on VA sites is that the form is due annually which does not really narrow it down for me.

tdiu Tdiu Info
I hate to be a pest but my nerves are getting the best of me today and this place gives good advise and is very helpful so please bear with me. As stated earlier I got a call scheduling me for another C&P exam Feb8. It seems like I just got the letter stating that I had been awarded 100% TDIU. That letter arrived in my mail Sept.23,2010. The back page stated there would be no further exams scheduled. Here it is 4 months later and I have another exam. Is this what I can expect every few months? I receive SS disability and thought after two and half years of VA exams that I didn't have to worry that they would take away the TDIU and reduce my benefits. I am 63 ye…

Form For Employers
Thanks for all your help in this process. I looked at the form for Employers and in the section 21-4192 the top section says to be completed by the VA. Can I fill this out and send to my former employers myself? What address should I put for them to return the info? Can I put my own and then forward to the VA? I am just trying to be proactive but I dont want to break some rule either. Thanks, Sean

I have been awarded 100% TDIU w/o any future exams. Although I have a 70% service connected disability. My wife gets Champ VA healthcare. My question is, do I have Armed Forces Commissary & Exchange privileges. If so, how do I go about getting to the PX? What proff will I have to provide and where do I get that proof? I live pretty close to wright Patterson Air Force Base. I do have the VA letter stating that I am 100% TDIU.

C&p Cancelled
I went to visit my county VSO. He called the VFW and got everything taken care of. He is the greatest. I had been scheduled for a C&P by mistake. The VA called me to verify that my C&P had been canceled. I was awarded 100% P&T with no reviews scheduled in the future. My nerves are better now.
