Could I File For Totaly Disability
After reading about the Bulging disc, I would like some help on filing an additional claim. I am currently at 70% I was rated as follows Social Fobia 50% Partial tear rotator cuff 10% Right knee chondromalcia 10% Left knee chondromalcia 10% Chronic strain lumboscacral spine 10% I recently viewed an MRI for my back because I having serious pain shoot down my leg. The MRI shows I have a bulging disc. I am currently un-employed and I have not worked for almost a year. Also since it hard for me to contact my nearest VSo, should I file another claim or should I do a total UI? Thanks for your replies.

Here goes, 1. 50% depression / Anxiety - VA state this could get better, I dont think so, I am now seeing a civilian doc and he put me Zoloft. 2. 50 Sleep Apnea 3. 40% Prostatis- VA state this could get better, my civilian urologist don't think so 4. 20% Gerd 5. 10% Tinnittis 6. Kicked Back F/decision To Development Phase
Hey everyone. By now I've grown accustomed to the idea that the VAROs are full of unpleasant surprises and the claims process is as unpredictable as can possibly be. The initial development phase lasted a few short months and then went to the decision phase where it sat for a good 6 more months. I would check it daily anxiously waiting for a final shift to the notification stage. After enough reminders from fellow vets and one solid bit of information from a friend who actually adjudicates claims in the Waco VARO I cam to realize the IU claims from my phase of the wars were pushed back due to 75% of their claims processors being made to solely process Agent Orange claim…

diabetes Annual Income / Work Verification
I have not worked since Dec 29th 2010. I filed for TDIU in January. I am using sick leave, so I am still "on the rolls" but am sure I will not work again. Everything seems to be rolling along with the TDIU claim. I had my C&P exam last week. (already at 70%PTSD, diabetes, and leg wound for a total of 80%). My employer is pushing people to retire and they just offered $20K to retire by May 31st. Since there is no way I will work again, I might as well quit using my sick leave and retire. The incentive to leave is $10K in November of 2011 and $10K in Nov 2012. I was told it would be reported on line 7 on IRS 1040 "Wages and Salaries". That doesn't make s…

What Is This Vcaa Letter About?
I was awarded 70% disability in February for a case filed in Feb 2010 for anxiety depression service connected. I am seeing a counselor who was afraid I am growing suicidal and strongly suggested I go to the VA for antidepressants again. Against my better judgment I called to schedule an appt. I mentioned I was working so needed to go early as possible in the day. A day later I receive in the mail a packet saying "they are working on my claim for unemployablity" even though the case has already been decided and have a bunch of papers that need to be filled out, and want statements from employer, counselors, etc. It sounds like they are trying to get evidenc…

tdiu Dr's Appts 5-8X's A Month
OK..I'm at 21 months in waiting on TDIU decision. My claim went from development to rating phase just recently. Needless to say, my emotions went from inpatience to doubting phase at the same time. In your people's opinion, especially the elders here, do you think my numerous appointments with the VAMC would hold any bearing with raters? All my appts are related to my SC disabilities. I also wonder if when your claim is in the rating phase do raters check for any new medical evidence that may have evolved recently? As in the last 2 weeks. My most recent appts clearly show my conditions worsening and I understand I can include that eviidence in a NOD or Reconsideration…

tdiu Should I Be Worried
My TDIU wasnt permanent and total, Just got a letter saying they are scheduling another exam. Should I be worried? During the past year I havent worked and social security was approved so I dont really know the next step. Havent been on here for awhile, have been helping a couple friends that were combat wounded. Gave them a place to stay, put them in the direction of the same people that helped me get my stuff done. One ended up TDIU and the other at 70% with a decent job. Having three people in a house that all have the same issues was comforting in a way, everyone knows what the deal is so none of us were looking at each other like lunatics. Getting someone to go to wa…
