tdiu Filed For Tdiu In April
Good Evening Everyone, I filed for TDIU in April of this year. I received one letter from the Regional office in Los Angeles. It was the typical form letter that they are working on my claim. When I view my claim status in Ebenifits it states I am still in stage 1 "the development phase". I have called the 800 number several times and put in several IRIS's for some one to call me. When I call the 800 numbe,r nobody can tell me status. I'm told that one of their computer screens says all my paperwork has been received and the other screen says it hasn't been received. I have also been told that nothing has been done on it since it was originally received in April…

tdiu Tdiu Claim Help
Would it help if I applied for SS disability due to my Parkinson's disease? I get only a small SS check now, and this comes from a small business that I have owned. My SS was offset because I retired from Federal Service. I really don't care if it increases my monthly SS check or not, I want to know if it would help my TDIU claim. Papa

tdiu Winter Blues
Hello all from Eastern Oregon, It is always a hard transition into the winter months and the shorter days. I get on this site everyday to see and hear how other vets are doing. It is always good to hear the success stories. I have been rewarded SSD soley on my service connection disabilitys and have had my TDIU claim in since april. It has been in the decision phase for the last 3 months. I have read on here that SSD is a positive factor when attempting for TDIU. Has anyone been turned down TDIU while being awarded SSD based off of service connection alone? Im at 90 percent now so we will see. Anyway I wish you all the bes…

tdiu Is This A Safe Assumption?
Hello All, As I try to stay busy while my case is scheduled to go to a rater on November 28th (according to "inside info"), some last minute questions are running through my mind. Perhaps someone out there could clarify a few things for me. First, the VA has never asked me for a copy of my DD-214 or any documents regarding my dependents. I'm assuming that this information is already in their possession or very easy for them to obtain. Is this a SAFE assumption to make? I don't remember sending anything like that back in 2005 when I filed my original claim. Second, if TDIU is granted how will they determine dependent eligibility? In other words, how will they know …

tdiu What Does This Mean?
VOR:Writeout 631A Future Physical Examination This was written on the E-benefits site. My TDIU claim was under decision for two months then sent back to development. I was awarded SSD and sent them the paperwork when I filed for TDIU. I am just a little confused what this means. I have had my claim in since april. Does this VOR thing mean I am going to have another C and P exam?

tdiu Denied Because Dav Rep Mistake, Filed Second Round.
I've been out since Jan 03 when I was Med boarded from the AF for my back. I had a tumor removed from my spinal cord l4-l5 in 2001. I had nerve pain in the left side since 1998. After the surgery it helped a little but the pain was still there. Pretty much from the left side of the back at the belt line down to my foot all day spiking and throbbing pain. Insomnia because of the pain and the joy of all the meds I have to take to relieve the pain. Not to mention during the service I had a break down because of all the pain and the constant torment from command NCO's and Officers complaining about my condition thinking I was faking, which was then diagnosed as depressi…

ptsd What More Do They Want?
Received a packet in the mail yesterday that the VA wants more information on my TDIU claim. They have a PTSD exam that says that I'm unable to work. They have a letter from my Neurologist that I'm unable to work. Just spent about a week were I was unable to walk. They still will not rate me from my last PTSD exam . Lets see: Parkinsons, DMII, PTSD, PM, Sleep Apena, etc. etc. etc. sure I'm employable. Maybe, I will apply at the VA. Just pissed. Sorry. Papa

tdiu I Did Not Claim Tdiu But They Say I Did
I started my new claim September 14 2010. I had all my C&P exams completed as of March 21st 2011. My claim has been waiting to be rated by the Winston Salem Regional Office since the 28th of March2011. Since then my house has been in foreclosure and I have recieved numerous letters saying it will be auctioned. My car was repossesed. I requested to expedite my claim due to financial hardship. I sent in copies of my foreclosure notices and a statement of why I feel I deserve to have my claim expedited. 3 days after I faxed in the afore mentioned information I got an envelope in the mail with a vcaa and an explanation of what the VA has recieved and what they are …

ptsd Administrative Review
Hey folks, i appreciate any help upfront. Here's the cliff notes version of my situation: I received an approval on an appeal for ptsd in 03/11 time frame with a 70% sc for ptsd. In the letter, the va stated that because i have had so many jobs and other problems since i have been out that unemployability was inferred and my file was being reviewed by the appropriate board. A week into april i receive a letter from the iu board with the required paperwork, instructions, etc. I filled it out and turned it in on around 4/30/11. On 5/9/11 i received my award letter stating that since they had not received my paperwork before it was time for a decision, the iu was dated…
