Questions About Vso
Hi All, we are having problems with our VSO. When we get in touch with him he is very knowledgable but, that's only when we get in touch with him. His email responses are often short and don't answer our questions and he is difficult to reach by phone. There are 3 other VSO's in his office but, I'm wondering if we have other options outside of that office. Any suggestions?? We understand that he is busy and make sure we don't call every week or with every question.

ptsd Question About Getting 100% Iu Through The Va
Hello I am new to the forums I was just awarded Social Security Disability in Missouri for PTSD, Seizure Disorder, herniated disks in my back, and kidney stones. Around a year ago I was trying to help a driver whom was passed out over the wheel I thought he was having a heart attack, but was drunk he ended up dragging me down the road until I could break loose. As a result I have herniated disks in my back that cause severe pain, and the majority of the time I cannot feel my left leg etc. But I have not been able to work since the accident. With the VA I am currently 40% service connected for my kidney stones. But I also have a case before the board in D.C. for …

tdiu Is Va Adjudicating Tdiu Claims Incorrectly?
Hello Everyone. I have read a number of VA denial decisions on TDIU claims that Veterans have posted on this board and others. A number of these denials are very similar in that VA applies 3.321((1) rather than 4.16(B). However, the manual that VA raters use, M21-1MR, Part IV, Subpart ii, Chapter 2, Section F, to evaluate TDIU claims states: b. Applying Apply the concept of average impairment in earning capacity to the Concept determinations of the percentage of disability. of Average Impairment Do not apply the concept of average impairment in earning in Earning capacity to determinations regarding IU. Capacity This is…

tdiu 80% And Struggling...
Ok, started my claim for my back injury in oct 2007. In Feb 2008 I was awarded 60% Comp. (*of note I was also awarded my Social Security Disability in Jan 2008). The money finally came in... But I am STILL not able to work. I submitted an additional claim for my left and right legs (weakness, numbness, tingling...) and my left and right hip problems. Also in this claim I requested Unemployability. I was awarded a total of 80% Comp disability from the VA, (started this second claim in March 09 and final decision came in June 09). BUT I was DENIED my Unemployability. Reason was that the VA could not figure out if there was something other than my back, legs and hip…

My Iu Claim Due To Als
After I got awarded SSDI, I sent the award letter in, along with recent medical records and dr's statement from private neurologist. A couple weeks after I sent it in, I got a duty to assist letter from VA saying they had received my claim for an increase for ALS and for IU. Now, mind you, I sent this in as a reconsideration which I stately plainly. Anyway, the letter said they had already scheduled me for a c&p exam for my joints. I knew this because the ortho from the vamc called me a few days early to schedule it. The va also requested my medical records from ssa and they said it could take a few months to receive. they also asked for all information I had already…

Thats not all I also have fibromyalgia that makes the pain worse in all my joints and to top it all off I have the vertibra in my back between c3 and c9 with c6,7,8 crushing down on my spinal cord taking my breath away every time I take in a deep breath. tdiu Start Tdiu Claim?
Hi to everyone. I was put on the TDRL from the Marine Corp and rated 40% for unretractable migraines, neurocardiogenic syncope, and clusterheadaches in September 2008. I was subsequently given temporary 100% from the VA. I havnt been able to work since I was seperated from the service and I dont see myself being able to work at all due to the migraines, syncope episodes and meds. However I am in the vocrehab program and barely hanging onto that because of classes I have had to drop due to my conditions. Well the 12 months have passed and I have yet to hear from the VA for my exams and I was wondering if i should file for TDIU now? On my temporary 100% decisio…

tdiu Turned Down For The 2nd Time Tdiu
Hello I am in need of advise. I am rated at 80% with 60% 30% 10% 10% 10%. I applied for TDIU last year and the VA claim was they "Lost" my file. Well I am at that point to not knowing what to do. If I appeal it to the VBA it will be forever. I want to keep the orignial claim date as I have been working this claim and do not want to loose the orignal date of Claim. I also asked for an increase in rating for my back but that apparently was also lost. I called the 1-800 number and was told today they denied the claim for TDIU. I was actually surprised that the guy gave me the information. My back has went through a lot of changes in 2 years 3 disc are herniated my leg has st…
