SueEdel....mine also move to notification phase as of today!! -
I woke up today and had missed a call from e-peggy. I called them back as requested. The guy couldn't tell me anything...grrr He did say it moved to notification phase and that it must be a good sign that the RO called me but he was sorry because he couldn't see anything in my file. He told me the BBE would be sent via snail mail. My anxiety is getting the best of me. *How long til it changes to complete? *How long until something shows up in ebennie? *Has anyone else had the RO call them? * What should I expect?

ptsd Had My C&p For Ptsd... Where To Get The Diagnosis?
doubleD replied to BearGator56's question in PTSD Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Claims
I wouldn't call, you never know who is answering the phones. Go to the VA and go to the Release of Information Office, ask them for a copy. You will have to sign the release form, but at least you will walk away with a copy of your exam notes! -

yes...a copy of the c &p exam is what you want. That is what contains the doctors findings/opinions. VA's Release of Information office will have a copy in you records. -
ptsd Had My C&p For Ptsd... Where To Get The Diagnosis?
doubleD replied to BearGator56's question in PTSD Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Claims
I just went to the VA's release of information office (the one where the c and p exam was completed) and got a copy. It doesn't stop the process. Once it is done it becomes part of your medical records so you should be able to go to your local Va. -
Congrats!

hypertension Movement Preparation For Decision
doubleD replied to SueEdel's question in VA.gov Questions (formerly E-Benefits)
I have been following a couple days behind SueEdel, so hopefully she hears something soon. I have my fingers crossed that We can freak out together! Although, if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any at all. This is my first claim but I have 10 issues attached to it, expecting a long road. This process sucks! -

ptsd How Much Influence Is C &p Exam On Rating?
doubleD posted a question in VA Disability Claims Research
I was wondering how much influence does the C and P exam have on the approval and/or disability rating? I am stressed and freaking out because I am about to lose everything. It seems like there are a lot of appeals. Will I be denied the first time? The exam notes have the following: PTSD/Panic/Depression at least as likely as not (50% or greater) deficiencies in most areas GAF 45 -
