I absolutely agree with Gastone....As wonderful and as helpful as all are on this site, get professional legal advice with this.
You do have an Honorable Discharge and a Article 15 is a non-judicial punishment, usually imposed by your unit commander/ or in some cases by a battalion commander. At least that is the way it used to be. I have an Article 15 on my record, and it did not affect any decision by the VA. However that was PART of my record at the time of my claims. I didn't have to submit that information as part of any claim I had.
Again, Gastone is correct.....get professional legal advice on this!!
I wish you well on all your claims, and always the best to you and your family!!

Just my opinion: I do not believe that any kind of therapy, VA or otherwise , preferably VA though will hurt any claim you have at any time. Others will offer thoughts on this that may be better than mine, but that is my opinion.
Also, I hope you do everything you can to make your life better and to deal with your issues so that your life can be as good as you want. I'm not making a big revelation here in the sense that, "there will be nothing easy about therapy and you most certainly will be uncomfortable and in my case AFRAID. For me, therapy has not changed the severity of what I go through. I still have nightmares, panic attacks, my mood changes on a dime, I don't sleep and on and on and on!! However for me what the therapy has done, its helped in how I approach this fear and helped in the sense that I at least some of the time don't let the fear control what I do and don't do.
In the last few months I did and finished the "Prolonged Exposure Therapy" As long as you have a therapist you feel you can trust and create a bond with, then this treatment, though not for everyone can be good. In my case, I had a great therapist and we had some good therapy, but all the issues I had before are still there and they always will be, just as intense, but with the therapies, some more tools to combat them with. I am tired of living in the dark, and these therapies have shed some light for me.
JMO: Besides helping yourself of course, for me, all the various therapies I have had, has only helped my claims, but more important, for the most part the therapies have helped "ME".
Like I said, others with more knowledge than me will comment, but if you have any questions about the " Prolonged exposure therapy", or anything else please feel free to contact me. This is a great site, with great veterans always willing to help!!
All the best to you and your family!!
Thank You for your service!!

P.S. Just a follow up....I don't think just because you don't want to do a certain therapy will change the decision of a claim. The claim will get rated on the evidence and the merits of the claim.
As far as the therapy goes, you may not be ready for this therapy at this time, that doesn't mean that in 6 months you might not be more willing to do the therapy. Work with your Dr's and create a plan of action that you might be more comfortable with. Just remember my friend, as a combat vet myself, therapies in general are NOT COMFORTABLE, but some of them can really help if given the chance. Good luck!!

I am sure someone on this site can help you with the copy and paste problem...but...
Just a reminder and I am sure you have already done this, but be sure and redact ALL personal information, just show what you want the members on this site to see.
Otherwise, I wish you well and thank you for your service!!

No....and I don't recommend it!! If there is an issue with a C&P and you get low balled or denied you can always fight it with a NOD or any other form of disagreement that's available.
I agree with Georgiapappa above various states have differing laws and I can't conceive of any C&P DR. being ok with being recorded. Like Georgiapappa said, it could open up a legal battle that surely you would have a hard time winning.
To me, unless there is some extrodinary circumstance, I wouldn't open that can of worms. It could slow up any current claims or ones that you have not filed yet. JMO
All the best to you, your family, and all the best for your claims!!

Tbird:
I had a similar situation a few years back....so yes it is BS with a capital B. They know you require the meds, your records show you take the meds....so the Dr. wrote the refill in a way that made the pharmacist unhappy, then they should refill your meds and the DR. and the Pharmicist can get together and figure it out, but don't blame or deny the VET the medicine he/she needs.
Have a great day Tbird!! Thank you for all you do and Thank you for your service!!

FYI:
Just a note...if you are rated 100% you will receive a waiver of premium for 10,000 dollar life insurance AFTER you have been 100% for 6 months. When I signed up, I payed the premium for a total of 5 months, and after the 6 month period the V.A. sent me back the 5 months in premiums I paid.
So sign up, pay the premiums for the 6 months and you will get your money back, or wait 6 months and you will be good to go!!
All the best!! Thank you for your service!!

Congratulations Chuck57thSig!!!!
As best you can, relax and let the systems update. It can take about 24hrs to update. If the V.A. has your banking info, watch for deposits in the next few days. Check your online letters tomorrow, and if you still don't see a change in the letters, you can always call the 800 number tomorrow and try and get updated information then.
Again, Congratulations on your well deserved award!! When you call the 800 number or IRIS as it is called, you can ask and they should be able to tell you about your retro pay...amount, when it might hit your account...etc and any other question you may have.
All the best and Thank You for your service!!
