  1. I think you have made a mistake on the ship name. The USS Kawishiwi (AO 146)

was a fleet Oiler and likely stayed at Yankee Station. Her cruise info shows only Viet Nam west packs. There is a ship named the USS Kishwaukee (AOG-9) Operated primarily or exclusively on Vietnam's inland waterways.

I wish I could help more but unless John Rossi and Company pull a rabbit out of thin air, The probability of service connection for BWN will remain very thin.

    Sorry

  2. If the VA bills your private insurance and you are part of a special program like 112/shad or other issue or are billing your insurance for any service connected treatment, or medicine for that treatment then the VA is defrauding your insurance company and they need to be locked up for it. That is larceny. They do this all of the time. If insurance companies would wake up and realize they are getting stripped by the VA they they would do something but they don't realize the scope of the problem. Could be billions of money. Besides this makes your private rates go up.

  3. As an asbestos Guru, I will tell you this. You need to go get a HRCT or high resolution cat scan looking at the scarring. Asbestosis can be seen on a good image.  If the Xray doesn't show it then ask for the claim to be dropped. If they find something and are not sure what it is then you will need a lung biopsy. They will tell you what it is, even the type of asbestos. Asbestos will never deteriorate inside the body.

We need to do another show on asbestos.

  4. The Journey.
    No one walks alone.
He will come and take your hand and lead you.
He will show the way to the edge of the light. one day your loved ones will take the same walk, holding his hand. He will hand them off to you in order for you to teach them how to soar and show others the way because no one walks alone.

  5. Folks, Bergie is a very old and dear friend of Mine and Hadit too. He has contributed countless hours to this site. He has been on extended hiatus and now he is back. I know folks don't like repetitive questions but since Hadit has changed servers the search engine is lacking as I have searched for things that just aren't there like the Hadit Disability calculator.

Until the issues are resolved, If someone asks a question regardless of how repetitive it may seem to be it should be answered. Were about helping veterans. If you feel upsets you on a repetitive question, then don't answer. We have ASKNOD on the radio show tonight so folks can lsiten. Alex will touch on the SMC issues as he is the guru on this subject with a very keen way of delivering his message.

  6. Actually since you were in the miltary GM has nothing to do with the VA, You were active duty and through no fault of your own you had an accident. Sounds like you got written up by Barney Fife as a result of the accident. Now the GM defect caused the accident (Sounds like an Ignition Switch issue).

Is the VA saying you were negligent? If so they need a Knot jerked in them. It is GM's fault and you are an innocent victim. Now the VA  needs to comp you for you for your disabilities caused by the accident.

  7. We are always under the watchful eye of the old VA, remember you are not a deserving Veteran in their eyes, You are just another dysfunctional system playing dirt-bag trying to get something. Now how to reverse that negative mindset in a supposedly non-advesarial  environment would be a brilliant thing that will only take the privatization of the VA to change.

Let them watch. If we vets are as disabled as we say we are, then we have nothing to hide.

By the way, Believe it when other folks are watching you. Social Security and workers comp are experts at surveillance
