It appears the VA has combined the TBI and PTSD. That is not very good for the Veteran.
That practice should not be allowed.

It all depends on the type of hearing. The docket number is issued when yhe BVA receives the appeal. If you selected a video conference it is faster but I heard of a 4 year wait for some appeals.

Brcause the VA has sneaked it by in the federal register. They are denying most OSA claims and lumped them into Lung Disorders so any lung disease no Sleep Apnea awards.

It is not that easy. Loss of use means it must have the same effect on you as an amputation.
People with lung disorders including myself do have a difficult time but we can stand if we have to.
If you had a stroke and the nerve was paralyzed then that would fit the criteria as loss of use.

Once you receive the 100 percent p and t letter, fill out a ChampVA application for his dependants.
you have 18 months to claim past co pays. That clock starts on tue date of the award not the effective date.
copy all recipts of co pays bact to his effective date and mail them to ChampVa. ChanpVa will review it and send you a check.

This doc went against you. The 50 percent probability is the guide. At 50 percent probability the benefit of the doubt rule kicks in. Less than 50, The veteran loses.

A good conceal carry gun is the s and w M&P shield. Available in either 9mm or 40. These are 3 1/2 inch barrels and conceal easily.I am not a fan of anything smaller than a 9mm. The Ammo is the Key. You being a disabled Vet and a Veteran can sign up at the Gun Warehouse and you can send your credentials per their site to check their L and E prices on Guns and Ammo. Pay close attention to Hornaday Critical Duty Ammo.That Ammo cures all issues when you have to shoot. Check it out on line. For an all around great shooting Pistol I use Glocks. I like the model 23 and 27. Both 40.

Dont forget about the recurrent tinnitus . That is a 10 percent rating and is a cue if not rates or rated zero percent.

That means he is 75 percent sure it was in service.
Nnot too shabby.

As long as your doctor or examiner states tinnitus is recurrent you should get it. 10 percent is the rating for it.
Thats the bottom line.

Your next goal is to get P and T
P and T comes with benefits including Chapter 35 education benefits for dependants and ChampVA insurance. Also included are MWR benefits and commissary and exchange privleges. You will continue to undergo scheduled VA exams as they attempt to say you have improved and will always be fighting to keep from being reduced.

Take them to your local VA along with his 100 percent letter and give it to the patient advocate and ask them to fix it.

I recommend you send a pm to James Cripps and ask your queations. He just used the grant recently.
Check out the sprinter 2500 van for your needs. These vans are configured for disabilties and have seating arrangements that will provide you with the space you need and seatings for the kids. I think they offer side or rear ramp options.

The most embarrassing thing in Basketball is a missed Dunk. What you do with attorneys depends on exactly where you are at on your claim. If your headed to the BVA and it gets close to the hearing then changing gears will not help you as they still get paid.

if it is 100 percent then you may back up p and t.

The va will tell you that most migraine headaches stop once you reach a certain age.Don't believe it.

Usually it will take a completed year for the VA to find out if the veteran goes back to work and never reports going back to work.
this IU benefit is a special benefit for veterans that are not 100% rated but can't work due to their S.C. Disability...VA decides they can't work b/c of this disability and grants the IU..if the veteran goes back to work because his disability got better then he/she better lett he VA know
I respectably disagree that we disagree on this.
Buck if you are 100 % scheduler and have to fill out a form, something is wrong. Under no circumstances should a 100 % scheduler vet be required to fill out IU paperwork. it is a waste of resources. you should call the va and ask this question? If I am 100 percent and not IU then why am I filling out IU paperwork because leagally a 100 percent vet can work.
