We have been in FL since 2015 off/on but officially March 2016.  I am no where in need of IU or 100% as of now.  I have a very good job that I do from home and live in the Keys so life is good.  
I should come back to help others because it should be what I do to help others since I got help.  John Dorle was a God send for me and I am forever grateful for making contact with him through Hadit radio show.

Hi everyone!  Hope all is well.  I just wanted to stop in and say hello.  I haven't been on here since late last year.  Life is going good.  As most know my story and it was a doozy, I finally got everything I deserved!  Overall 90% and I couldn't be happier.  It took a lot of hard work and sleepless nights and a lot of C&P exams and fighting the VA but I prevailed.  I was thankful for this sight b/c without it I would have never met a great guy that helped me with the final phase of my rating.  I am now just waiting on an EED for my contentions but I am really not really worried about it and if it happens great and if not, I am good.
Don't give up EVER!

Congratulations, welcome back and glad you got what you were working so hard to achieve and deserve! I live north of you and can not wait to drive down to the Keys again!

Hope your foot gets better soon. I think you said about a second surgery? Hope that goes well for you and a speedy recovery, too.

First as a fellow sailor thank you for your service!  My Dad was a CTRC USN retired after 24 years.  I was a DK and OTASN before being medically retired.
So I inquired of Peggy last night.  My 6/1/17 claim is due to complete 7/14/17 but we know....hurry up and wait!  My 3/1/17 claim is due to complete 8/24/17 and is in gathering evidence phase.
I inquired of IRIS and this is the response I received this morning:
Dear Ms. Wagner;

This is in response to your inquiry to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) dated July 12, 2017.

Thank you for your service to our country. 

Your supplemental compensation claim is currently in the development phase of processing. During this phase, we gather the evidence needed to decide your claim. We have received all requested evidence. Your claim will be reviewed and we will contact you if additional information is needed.

At this time, it is estimated that your claim should be completed by August 24, 2017. Please understand that this date is an estimate and that your claim may take longer based on the specifics of your claim and VA's pending workload.
 
So still playing the waiting game ATM.

Okay well it's a start and if you feel it is inaccurate after reading the decision, then file an appeal.  You can get a copy of the letter at any local DAV office.  Go to one and request a copy, it's not that hard to get a copy of it.  

So glad you're back....missed you.

UPDATE!!!  The DRO just called me and told me my ratings!!!  I am so thrilled!  I can't believe it!  She gave me 20% for the right foot metatarsal; 10% right ankle sprain; 10% Morton's Nueroma left toe; increased left ankle scar from 0% to 10%; 0% for right foot scar (not sure about that but...); gave me 100% temp conv for 5 months on my right foot; SMC-S for 5 months; 4.8% bi-lateral rating.
She granted me 80% back to 2013 and then 90% overall as of September 2016!!!

I am so glad I got this accomplished!

Life is precious and glad you were able to communicate with the Vet T-Bird.  I have never felt so down that I wanted to ended it all but I have come really close b/c I have thought about it.  I can't imagine the pain some of the Veteran's feel due to all the trauma we have all experienced.  I want to help Veteran's out as much as possible and I am considering getting involved with a program at the local VA to do just that.

So Ebennies has updated my overall rating to 90% today!  Happy dance!  I am now awaiting the retro pay to hit the bank.  I got everything I wanted except for the scars.  I got 10% for left scar, an increase but neither my right foot scar or my left toe scar were rated?  I think this is an error but I am not sure it really makes a difference....
My overall rating with these contentions added was 85% but I just saw that I was awarded my 20% secondary s/c for the anal fissures/hemorrhoids, which now brings me to 88%, rounded up to 90%.
I am completely satisfied with all of this and I think for once in the past several years, I can sit back and just live life and not have to worry about filing a claim.
I plan to send a letter to McDonald's office and WACO RO's office to thank them both for all the efforts they put forth to ensure I got the proper rating w/o having to waiting several more years for a BVA to fix this.
To all Veteran's, never give up your fight! 

With similar advice, I did something similar and b/c of it I sit today at 90%.  I emailed McDonald's office with major issues at the Waco RO.  Within days I had the WACO RO office call me and tell me that they reviewed the former DRO's decision and b/c of the egregious errors, I was going to be awarded a full grant.  After my C&P exams, last week, I got the call I had waited for, for years....I was awarded 80% all the way back to 2013, then with my NOD I had pending, the new DRO went ahead and awarded that as well, which got me to 90%.  Today, I await the back pay.

Well it is finally my turn to be happy on here!!!  I have waited for a long time to get my VICTORY and I just got the call that I had been waiting for.  My other thread "Squeaky Wheel Gets Oiled..." has been on going and great thread I started about my journey.  The DRO just called me and told me what she was granting me.  Now I need to know about calculations of back pay???
May 2013 was my initial claim.  She granted me 80% as of May 2013, however, I have had three decisions during this time.
June 2014 - 40% (IBS 30%, Tinnitus 10%, Left ankle 10%, Anemia 0%)
November 2014 - 60% (IBS 30%, Tinnitus 10%, Left ankle 10%, PTSD/MST 30%, Eating Disorder 0%)
January 2016 - 70% (IBS 30%, Tinnitus 10%, Left ankle 10%, PTSD/MST 50%, Eating Disorder 0%, 0% left ankle scar)
She is also giving me 100% temp conv. rating from January to May 2016 for my right foot surgery
She is also giving me SMC-S for January to May 2016 - How much is that?  
My total rating as of September 2016 is 90%
I was granted the following back to May 2013 by the DRO today:
Right 5th Metatarsal Fracture - 20% (Moderate/Sever)
Morton's Nueroma Left Toe - 10%
Right ankle sprain - 10%
0% for additional scars to foot and toe
Increased to 10% for left ankle scar
bi-lateral she said I was given 4.8% to round me to 90% overall

Ok, so, if I understand your question, you got a BVA remand, and nothing yet from the RO implementing the remand?
This happens more often than it should.  I had to fight the RO to get them to implement the Board remand, and Alex is still fighting them to get them to implement a BVA GRANT.  
Here is what Alex and I have done.  
First things first.  Do them in this order:
1.  Send an IRIS email, asking for "status" of your remand 2 years ago, and why wasnt it implemented when the board said to give it expiditious treatment.  "Ask".
2.  After a week and no response, then email Bob McDonald with same issue, explaining you have tried asking the RO to no avail.
3.  If still no action, after another week, consider a Writ of Mandamus to the CAVC compel the RO to implement the Board remand.  I hope the CAVC gets tired of getting Writs to compel implementation of remands, this is supposed to be done pronto, and not delayed.  Its crazy to have to file a Writ to compel the RO to do what they should already be doing, but if that is what it takes, then do it.

Way to go Navy.  I need to get on here more often, my mind drifts and I seem to miss a lot.  Take it easy now and relax a bit.  Let it sink in for a while, none the less enjoy your win, you are definitely one of us who has been fighting the good fight.
