I think you're golden, 84.  The VA says you still have the PTSD and that it is disabling.  SSDI has already disabled you ("no, he can't work") for the same reason.  They are just calling you in to review your situation, which "has not fundamentally changed."
MPSgt hit it on the head.  Don't worry, things are gonna be alright.

SSDI and VA are two different programs, as you well know.
If the Disability that qualifies you for VA is the same as that which was documented for SSDI, then I don't see a problem.  You just provide a copy of the VA decision to the SSA when asked.
If not, then you'll have to "reprove" the disability still exists and still prevents you from work.  in this case, the VA disability documentation may help to show that you can  not work in ANY field of endeavor.
You see, you can be totally disabled for VA purposes, and still not meet the SSDI, and vice versa.

IMO, don't sweat it.  Just answer the questions on the review honestly and send a copy of VA award letter to the SSDI reviewer.  Since you haven't worked at all and can't do any job.  The SSA will probably continue your SSDI.  The SSA reviews SSDI claims ever one, three, & seven years.  This depends on the likelyhood of improvement in your condition.  They probably won't review your SSDI but, ever seven years.  Especially, if you provide a copy of your award letter from the VA stating 100% P&T.  Sleep well.

I am also 100 P&T. I went to the VA Hospital in Loma Linda, and since they were so backup with appointments they sent me out to find a Dentist. All they said was to make sure the Dentist Office was in their network, and that was it. Now, I get seen by a very good Dentist of my choice. They VA has come through with every suggestion the Dentist has made concerning my Dental needs, and they have paid 100% of my care. Thank you VA......

You need to go to your nearest VAMC  they all have dentist clinics, take copy of your award.  but you shouldn't have to its suppose to be a matter of record  they can look on the computer that you qualify.
if no VAMC close within 40 miles then call this number  1-866-606-8198  VA Choice Card Approval. so you can see a Private dentist and the VA Pays the Bill.
if this number is for some other condition  just ask that you need the dentistry Number  they should be able to tell you what number to call.

100% VA allows you to get Dental at VA. I started receiving all of my Dental at local VA last year. Very good work, and they usually get me in pretty quick. Have you gone to your local VA Dental Clinic and ask for Treatment. Good luck

I will explain what happen to me while on P&T TDIU. I applied for SSDI and had to go to the judge for a ruling. Before entering the court room, I asked lady working the desk if TDIU rating be used in a SSDI claim. I was told no because VA has a different system then them. I was ready to argue that my VA rating of P&T TDIU should be used as medical evidence to determine if my combined disabilities are sever enough to qualify me for SSDI. I also was going to argue that VA Doctors do not determine if you are too disabled to work because VA have a separate system to evaluate who is unemployable due to combined SC disability called TDIU.
Having no lawyer, I went before the judge to argue my case. The judge starting asking about my medications so I explained what my life was like without them and what it was like with them. After the 2nd medication of 5 he stopped me saying he heard enough and ruled totally in favor of my SSDI claim. In his ruling he stated that no one disability qualifies me but my combined disabilities do qualify me. Just before leaving the court room. I explained how I believed that my P&T TDIU should be use to help qualify me for SSDI in my combined disability case. In his ruling he use it as supporting evidence to help justify my SSDI claim. This means that he agreed that VA has a separate system to determine if someone cannot work due to service connected disabilities and VA Doctors do not determine if someone cannot work because of said rating system. P&T TDIU can help with your SSDI claim if you have no doctor's letter saying you cannot work. I hope this information can help others get SSDI they paid for. Keep in mind every case is different and I am not a lawyer. Taking our case before an appellate court judge maybe worth it.

Correct. They start paying effective the first of the next month following the date of marriage. If they drag their feet, you'll get retro.

I had the same situation just recently, they don't pay u for her until a month after marriage, they had my wife as none paying dependent but now I'm beefing paid about 2 mths later, becuz they pay a month late u get aug pay in sept, and champva takes some time but if u have all u documents they ask for its faster and she needs to be a dependent first but they reimburse u anything out of pocket from date of marriage or dependence one of those and no it won't clear her student loans only yours, unless u possible consolidated them with urs but when u get student loan forgiveness it's counted as income on tax return, ull get a 1099-c making u claim as income, so just say u have 20k in loans ull pay taxes on 20k if forgiven, facing some situation, oh yeah just goto base with award letter and marriage license and ull get her id

    So what I've found out is as follows;
    - Make sure you have if any, divorce decree's (certified) as DEER's system can be as old as dirt! Spouses birth certificate/S.S. card/Certified marriage certificate and you can go to any local pass/Id center any branch of service. Make an apt it will relieve the walk in stress.
-CHAMPVA enrollment T- 1month make sure all paperwork is included with the Form 10-10d. Your spouse signs the bottom not you. I.E. Past divorce decree's. Spouses Birth certificate (English only) Marriage certificate. I copied Social Security card too. Your Award paperwork. If any emergency should arrive during the enrollment time period you will be reimbursed.
-Ebenefits... Well who's knows it has a mind of it's own!
----As far as past Federal student loans from your spouse I've yet to figure that out. I'm assuming no.

I dont think so, unless your wife is also a 100% disabled Veteran, also, they wont discharge her student loans.

My thoughts would be: For now, get married today/tomorrow, by a JP, at city hall, if necessary, and then follow thru w/any wedding plans you have for August 7. This get her and child, covered asap. It'll probably cost about $100.

ChampVA usually covers 75% over everything, w/o worrying about terms like "pre-existing." jmo

Yeah those waivers were phony most of the time....

They tried to get the vet to believe they had to sign the waiver and also believe they could not ever claim for comp for whatever the waiver disability involved.

    What a crock of crap.

You are right Compensation is not a gift.
It is payment from our grateful nation for your sacrifice of mind or body,,solely due to your military service.

I think that fact alludes most of the people in the VA system.
