This is wonderful news! Amazing story. I lived in Oakland for a time, not far from the courthouse. The bigity bigity O has it's set of challenges that is for sure. I went to the Palo Alto and Menlo Park VA they were wonderful and helped me so much, I do not think I would be here today if not for some of those folks.

I am writing my memoirs and would love it if you could help a shipmate out and look at it.

I've had a few challenges, perhaps the same as you. I relate them here to demonstrate that we can learn, overcome, and find purpose in life.

The stories can be harrowing to read; they were challenging to live. Remember that each story taught me something I would need once I found my purpose, and my purpose was and is HadIt.com Veterans.

Even though so many folks here on HADIT are struggling with the VA in regards to claims, it is very gratifying to read that both you and Tbird got badly needed help at a VA hospital/clinic. I'll give the VA some of the credit for getting you started, but you both need to give yourselves pats on the back for the hard work you've done to have come so far.

Go forward, celebrate and enjoy your life!
