So I am told that both my gynecological and my anxiety issues are considered service connected, I have not recieved official word yet, ebenefits says it is "pending dispatch" The DAV tells me that now it will be sent back to the RO and I will have to have exams to figure out what the severity is to rate both of these.

Anxiety/PTSD was initially filed in 2002, I was denied during this claim and appealed it, will they go back to this date?

Gyno was filed in 2006. But I had information in my service record well before this, which date is relevant here??

Just make sure DAV is not holiding it up. Once there is a rating, DAV has to review it, I believe. Remind DAV of FAST letter 10-02

They aren't, the VARO hasn't looked at it yet, what bugs me is I can't even get a ball park timeframe, it is bs, this claim already spent enough time in Pittsburgh, it was started there in 2005, denied there in 2005 and again in 2008, so here we go again, a simple rating and 4 months go by and no news, totally ridiculous!! I have waited long enough on this one, IRIS just gives crappy generic answers too.

Surely some where is an average time frame on this?? The DAV guys light hearted jokes about a christmas club is starting to get a bit irritating here too, Christmas clubs and vacation clubs earn intest last time I check!!!

Finally went into decision phase, but I guess this is a little different than a claim. Since it is in for rating purposes not real sure on time frame of this phase, they are in a an IRIS message told me 96 days in this phase. We shall see, I am glad to see movement. I know it can go backwards at any time though. It went into this phase on June 4, 2012. Hopefully have it all settled out by fall.

I hope mine is not this bad. BVA granted my award for secondary April 4. Like you, I cannot get a word from my VARO. They made me take C&Ps for my primary and secondary June 13 and I got copies of both right away. They both were favorable and each had the key words "at least likely as not".

I was on Ebenefis last night and there was a request to update spouse information but maybe it was just a routine thing.

One of the worst things is how the VARO insulates itself from the veteran in terms of contact....
