VSO uses VA email Address!

Rate this question

pen

Question

I noticed that VSOs use @va.gov VA email addresses. This includes many from VVA, MOPH, and AMVETS.

This means the VA has access to the messages between the claimant and the so-called "advocate." This is how close the VSO and the VA work. The owner of an email system owns all messages on that system. So the VA can read all the correspondence the veteran sends. These VSOs are puppets. The VSO is creature of the VA.

Quote

VSO's are trained and accredited by the US Department of Veterans Affairs to provide assistance to veterans

I understand what your meaning  here  but what if those medical records your attorney needs is not in your C-FILE and you know damn well they should be.

Everything a Veteran submits in his/her claim is placed in the veterans C-File   or suppose to be & sometimes that doesn't happen for whatever reason is anybody's guess.

If a 7TH Grader can understand it  then why do we need top notch VA  Attorneys experienced and well versed in VA Law to help with our claims?

Do those records get lost in the back  mailroom on someone's desk?,Do  those records get tossed in the trash can? Does the VA Shred them?   VA  Employees Knows all too well how the system works..do you think in a New York Minute They are going to search for those records?

Sure when a veteran files a claim and signs the FOIA they will send off for them from wherever, but this subject is Medical records being destroyed/lost in space after or even before the veteran C-File has been digitized.

Sure there's going to be debates/opinions about this and sometimes outright nasty debates and until someone finds a solution there's going to be a lot more debates.

& sure at times it's hard to read into a post or email about actions someone writes & the text some times gets misconstrued or taken in the wrong way. (and we do live in a democracy this is why the debates)

Most Veterans feel victimized & down right pissed off when their records get lost in the wind and prevents them from a good well rounded documented claim being Adjudicated in their favor , it only takes one little sheet of paper to prevent a veterans claim from being adjudicated  and the years start to fondle in on the veteran and  he/she could possible die before he/she wins their claims or get to old to enjoy their life  and had to endure their Disability  that occurred while serving their country.

And furthermore  until this happens to a veteran then the veterans it don't happen to will never know what it feels like.

If a veteran is injured while in the Military /in conflict or stateside duty  it don't matter where or when, that veteran is entitled to compensation for those injuries.

So I would think when  Veterans medical records get lost and not in their C-File is a Major Ordeal and a 7th grader will never solve the problem.

you don't need one if you have the knowledge to do it your self wish you

seems to have a problem with. AS I said before c-file you don't need

medical records & doctors opinions or IMO make the different

not your c-file who will read your c-file not VA. Evidence wins a

claim and not what you think

With evidence anyone can win. just don't look for VA to find your dam records

or your evidence. That's your job. jmho  but you cant understand that right

It's in your best interest to keep your records and periodically update and scan them yourself. It's in VAs best interest to digitize and get rid of 100 thousand pounds of paper storage. It's no more realistic to hold them to a standard of absolute perfection than you hold yourself to.   Yes it sucks that old guys have paper records, yes it sucks that sometimes they get lost. Sometimes they get scanned badly. You know what? Millions of pages are scanned with no problems, too, making the Secretary correct that the failure rate is somewhere around 1 percent. That is acceptable to me  me and a standard to which many of you wish to aspire to. So, if you are that worried about it then go get your file, stop requesting it by mail and get of your ass and go GET IT and scan it yourself and stop blaming everyone else. They more than fulfill their duty to assist every damn day.

The Court denied the stay to the VA in Robinson.  Directed them to provide the paper copies and explain why the VA shouldn't be sanctioned for ignoring a July 29th deadline to either produce the files or explain why it would or could not.
