Denied - Conflicting C&p
I was denied SC for Asthma. This is part of a C&P from 2002. Here is a grand example of a conflicting C&P result. The portion of concern is my claim for Respiratory Conditions. If you will notice the conflicting statements pertaining to this claim, One Diagnosis states, "All impossible to relate to inservice without speculation." Then under DIAGNOSIS further down the C&P doc states : "with a history of seasonal rhinitis, recurrent upper respiratory infections (URI's), chronic otitis media, shortness of breath on physical training (PT) runs, to relate her chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma, is as likely as not to be service connected." …

HERSZENHORN WASHINGTON — The House on Wednesday approved a sweeping $696 billion military policy measure after revising a single provision in the 1,300-page bill that had prompted a surprise veto by President Bush. Mr. Bush had strongly supported the original bill, which included pay raises for the military and was approved by wide margins in both the House and the Senate. But he vetoed it last month after the Iraqi government raised objections to a pro…

Open Claim
Has anyone read or seen where through an administration error or adjudication error, a claim that was thought to be closed was not. That since it was not properly adjudication, the claim remaind open for several years? Some how in the back of my mind I remember reading something about such a claim, but I cannot remember where I saw or read it. Rockhound :)

Not Near A Vamc Or Clinic
Hi All, I want to know what do Vets do to work on getting earned C&P. It seems like a lot of Vets move or happen to be near a VAMC or clinic, and can get medical care that may help in the battle for earned C&P. So what happens if your a Vet trying to get that inital or relooked C&P and you live 200 miles away, and you don't have private med insurance? Are you forced to drive to this far away VA facility every time you have a Dr. Apt or med issue? What do you do if your condition gets worse? Seems like this is a problem for Vets /Family that don't live near a VA center and espically don't have private med insurance. Thanks.

MMkay, this is tough to say, but my hip is connected to my knee. Knee had mensicus surgery, swelling and problems, is SC. For sometime, hip above that knee has been 'snapping' in/out and a bit sensitive. Now the hip is not only sensitive, it started really hurting, to the point of near locking up. This is tough on my heart to mention, but I probably need a replacement. Anyone have experience to SC the hip to the knee issues? I do have sc lumbar strain, but havent been connected for ddd or osteoarthritis, or feet issues, yet. thank you from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of my husband too! :) cg

Part of my SC is 10% for Scarring with Residual Pain Syndrome. I have a skin graph on my whole right calph that is very painful when I walk alot, sit to much, climb stairs.
