Vcca Notice With Statment In Support Of Claim
Hi, I received a VCAA Notice May 2006 from the AMC. This would be 18 months ago. ( Not exactly the legal type, but I guess it is sufficient) Rater receives the claim September 2006 - No Personnel Records, but I catch this one, and sent in another copy. September 2007, Claim back to rater - Dr. Payne's letter is missing from the claims file. Development sends me another VCAA Notice and types in they have sent a letter to Dr. Payne for vital Information and send me a " statement in support of claim. I must fill it out. I am back at the beginning as though I never spent 18 months. HOW MANY VCAA LETTERS ARE YOU SUSPOSED TO GET? Always, Josephine

More Va Problems
http://www.vawatchdog.org/07/nf07/nfOCT07/nf102307-1.htm I wonder where the heck that Pentagon guy got the idea that claims are taking 6 months ? He thinks that is a delay in the claims process? Claims are taking years.

Jungle Rot Service Connected
My husband recently received his rating decision and his jungle rot was finally service connected at 0% (this was third attempt). VA is requesting an at once examination for the current disability picture. What is the at once exam? Why couldn't this have been addressed at the C&P - my husband mentioned his feet at the C&P for his wounds but doctor said she was done, had what she needed & ushered us out the door.

Dependent Change To Crdp And Va Comp
When VA adds my 3 dependents to increased rating, how does VA compensation and CRDP work? I believe that once added, I should get a small amount of retroactive pay. Then my monthly VA rate increases (if this year) from 901 to 1087, expect my CRDP will be recalculated using the %rate in effect. Just wondering if my brain is on board for this one. Thanks for your thoughts,cg

Can The Exam Dr. For C & P Ask About Different Medical Isues?
If I go to a C & P for feet and the Dr asks me about other medical issues that are not related to the C & P exam issue, do I have to answer? Or can they ask about ANY SC med condition and I have to answer? I ask because, I am going to see a Dr who is general practice, but also is a psycharitic Dr. This is a non VA Dr, that has been contracted to do C & P's. It's strange that neither the VA, the VA main contractor administrator nor the Dr in question ever mentioned the other speciality (psychatric Dr). Perhaps the VA is trying to determine if my SC for depression should be reduced while they are doing the other C & P. My paperwork does not say …

ptsd Already Tdiu, Have Been Awarded Ssdi, Time To File For P&t?
I'm worried about the VARO in the fact that the last couple of 'unprovoked' reviews of my case have kept my standing the same and have included the wording, that sense their is a "likelihood of improvement" that my case will continue to be reviewed or something of the such. Here's the question. I was granted Service Connection over a year ago, for TDIU due to PTSD. The award date went back to 2004 since I had DRO'd it. Now I have been granted the SSDI with the help of my VA docs and after my 6 week stay for PTSD inpatient. Is there anyway I can file now to get P&T? I really would like to be eligible for the Medicare as I need to get back surgery, but am n…

Cdrp
Hello, I would like to know if anyone has received their CDRP backpay from DFAS. I retired Sep 06 and received my VA compensation May 07, but since my VA compensation was more than my retirement pay the VA only paid me back pay for the difference between my VA compensation and my retirement pay. I was told that the difference will be awarded to me later if I had any due for which I feel I should since during those 7 months I actually was not paid for my retirement just compensation from the VA. (I hope this is making sense). So any info on CDRP back pay would be extremely helpful
