Lawyer Regs Open For
http://www.regulations.gov/fdmspublic/component/main Click on Department of Veterans Affairs and then under Open for Comment or Proposed I am going to suggest that since attorneys need to pass a test to show their level of comprehension of VA case law, why not give the same test to all service officers and veterans representatives too? You can email in your comments or mail them to the VA -at the address they give. Make sure you put the RIN number on the envelope and on your Comment.

This Is Weard & I Am Worried!
Hi Vets, Family & Friends of Vets, I am 30% for my feet & wrist and have been dealing with the VA for a few years, But I am really a novice....I am so fed up with the VA, I filed a NOD for my feet, etc, and even filled out the forms for them to get my civilain doctors records. After several months, they sent me more forms to fill out for them to view the civilian doctors records. I dodnt fill them out again. I have stamped copies of every thing I turned in. I have a VA ID card that say's I am service connected, and I finally decided to see an actual VA DR. Well, I didnt see a Dr, I didn't seee A PA, I saw a nurse. Any way, she refered me to a foot Dr, St…

tdiu C&p On Thursday
I have a C&P on Thursday at Castle Point for my TDIU. So what do I tell the doctor when they ask me why I am there. I did read the tips section, by the way they were great tips, but I still don't know what I should say. If they ask why are you here today.....do I respond, because I was sent a notice to be here for an exam. I am at a loss. I know how I feel....crappy...everyday, I smile to make it look as if there is nothing wrong, when in fact I am in pain everyday. I have double vision, floaters, photophobia, constant tinnitus, tmj, headaches/migraines that seem to never go away (3-4 a week) dizziness, cold intolerance, nausea, my head hurts, I can barely br…

tdiu Initial Rating Award Says Send In New Evidence
On the initail rating award there are numerous places where it says we recieved your claim and we rated it. You have one year from the date of your claim for such and such, go ahead and submit the new evidence. Is this also a reconsideration or is this just a "re rate"because the one year was not up. When you submit the new evidence what do we say. Hey, you rated the claim but you didn't have any of the recent medical records for the last 8 months so re-rate all this stuff? Any ideas? Is this now also a reconsideration or is it still part of the original claim? It says we have up to one year to submit evidence for TDIU. HMMmm Jangrin

Confused About What I Should Do Pending Nod
I have a NOD filed for my pes planus, I was awarded only 10%. I also NOD my 10% for hammertoes and bunions. Both of my civilian doctors say that I am disabled and must have a sit down job. Basically, when I stand for only 10 minutes, I get severe feet and lower back pain. I do wear custom made orthotics. I have submitted all of this evidence to the VARO and I am awaiting my NOD. I decided to see a VA Podiatrist and he says I may need to wear special braces for my ankles because my ankles turn inward. He also said that I have metatarsalbia (pain in the balls of my feet). I went for xrays and have a follow up apt in June with the Dr. Should I file a new claim o…

More Lawyers Gearing Up
http://www.vawatchdog.org/07/nf07/nfMAY07/nf051207-7.htm I havent listened to Ken's remark yet- When I filed a Writ of Mandamus many years ago- he was one of many CAVC attorneys who got in touch with me- and he was the one who impressed me the most- while my Writ was just a ploy- and had no basis for representation- Ken and I had quite a talk -he sure is always on the pulse of the VA claims process. There is a lot at watchdog today about this- My private lawyer who offered to rep me after June 15th-seems quite willing to help other VA claimants too-I need to talk to him more about that- he is moving his practice into this area, at an office just outside…
