Have You Ever Heard Of Rba 2000 Rating Software
This is a brief excerpt from a letter we were copied on which was sent from Daniel L. Cooper, Under Secretary of Veterans Affairs for Benefits, to our U.S. Congressman. This was in regards to the fact that the VA rating software rated my husband at 90%, but the Combined Rating Table rated him at 95% = 100%, a situation that was corrected by the Appeals Management Center last August, apparently unbeknownst to Secretary Cooper, since his letter dated October 25th insisted that his staff had researched the situation and came to the same absolutely correct conclusion as that which the AMC had already deemed was in error and has since corrected. I'm going to insert my commen…

diabetes Jim Strickland Says The Va Is Not Over With You
Taken from vawatchdog.com A lot of chatter in my email recently revolves around Individual Unemployability (IU), the right of VA to reexamine you or reclassify your rating and 20 year protections. It’s all complex and it all ties together. An award of a 100% Permanent & Total rating due to Individual Unemployability because of your disability is granted to a Veteran because although his combined disabilities don’t total 100%, they are considered severe enough to prevent the Veteran from seeking and holding gainful employment. The VA has been criticized in the past and again recently for not strictly following or enforcing the rules that govern IU. The rules a…

This letter was submitted to the RO as "Objective Edivence" We took him to his C&P exam in mid August of 2006 for 3 issues and one being the A&A, and we got back the results. He cannot walk without a cane. He can urniate by himself, but cannot wipe fical matter by himself. H…

Cue Experts
Could not afford IMO to support claim. Subsequent claim denied without C&P exam. Can they make a decision without any medical evidence or do they have to provide a C&P exam. Deadline for NOD has passed.

Locating Records? Active/reserve
I'm still trying to locate SMR's & hospital records..... On the e-vetrecs it asks if you were active or reserve..... husband was active, but when he got out, he was placed on reserve for 5 years - could his records be under "reserve" would they be stored differently? Or "miss placed" or are they all together? Also for his GW1 - how/where do you request those records?

Reading Smr, Found Retirement Physical Not Required Wow
Been studying my SMRs and as confirmed I truly did not get retirement physical; The statement letter stated Inaccordancewith AFR 160-43 says exam is not required Interesting; it also states that I was able to elect "to" or "not to" have an exam. Place for my signature or initials was blank, hmm.A few disability claims denials told me I was "silent" for this or that in my retirement physical. Wonder what I will find next.Read your SMRs! cg

Get this - I am 20% SC for DDD cervical 4-5-6 fusion with broken hardware, herniated disk at 3-4 & 6-7. 10% for arthritis of the wrist, 0% for trauma to elbow, 10% for trauma to shoulder and was deined claim for cervical radiculopathy both arms. Had a NCS at VA show carpal & cubital tunnel and bilateral radiculopathy. Yesterday I gat a letter wanting more medical documentation - THEY WANT TO KNOW WHY I THINK MY CARPAL TUNNEL IS SC. I am I wrong in believing to injury to my right arm has caused the carpal tunnel or the damage my have worsened it. What is wrong with these people?????
