hypertension Think I Made A Big Mistake
On May 31st I filed a Form 9, the box I do not want a BVA Hearing was checked. Also submitted with the form 9 was a statement in support which stated "Please be advised that I am submitting to you today a VA form 9 to protect my right to appeal those issues listed. I do not want this VA form 9 to supercede my request for a hearing with a DRO which is pending." The County VSO who helped me with it told only to list the items that were coming up on the one year mark and not the other items (I have filed multiple claims). Heart Disease and Depression were not listed on the form 9 or addressed in the 24 page letter that accopanied the form 9. I had a DRO Hearing on …

Improved Pension
I am actually looking for information for my ex-father-in-law (my son's grandfather). His wife recently died --so he's struggling at the moment. He is living on about $900 a month. He gets $38 veterans pension. He is a World War 2 Vet. He is 95 years old -- my son is staying with him now. Very poor hearing and eyesight -- gets around okay for a 95 year old --but not good compared to the rest of the world. I was starting to check into the housebound and A & A benefits -- not as service connected -- but as what I think is called an Improved veterans pension - where they make up the difference between your income and their minimum standards for your category. …

Sorry to bother you all, but for some reason I cannot find the decision where the VA decided that claims in certain states may be reopened upon request due to a substantial difference in compensation amount vs. national average. This is a hot ticket item for me as I am working an appeal right now, and if possible I need an answer as soon as possible...I've done a darn search and cant find the reference... Help..please... Thanks Bob Smith

What's This ?
...... went to the rating board (again) as of October 5th BUT it was "brokered" to another office. An office that isn't as busy as the Houston office. maybe Muskogee. I call the 1-800 number to check on the status and one day the customer service lady will tell me to call at the end of the week, then I'll call at the end of the week and someone else will say give it 30-60 days. But both times I called they both said it was at the "rating board" so I guess that's got to be right, right?? LOL. Also, when they pull up your information when you call does it show the last time you called? Thank so much. Oh BTW 10/25 will be 1 year since I started.

Do Veterans Have Any Rights Under The Constitution?
Hi, As most of you know that my claims file has left the AMC to go back to the two psychiatrist, who did the hynpnotic and slanderous lies in the last C&P. I called the medical center and my claims file is there for the new opinion? Am I allowed to be present during this review? What assurance, if any, do I have that they will not turn around and write a slanderous lying opinion? Trully the C&P is full of lies. Ones that I can prove. If the the BVA didn't believe me, I don't think that they would be sending it back to them for a new opinion. The AMC stated this morning, that they use the last physical to make their decision as to service conn…
