diabetes "veterans Challenge" From All Of Us Veterans To The Senate Vac, As Well As
fwd from: Kelly "Veterans Challenge" from all of us Veterans to the Senate VAC, as well as the House VAC. Dear Mr. Schrade, I am under the impression that you have little regard for me and appear to be convinced that I am “just another Vietnam veteran nutcase”; but, let me issue a "Veterans Challenge" from all of us Veterans to the Senate VAC, as well as the House VAC. I am presently preparing a ‘boilerplate’ appeal that all Veterans can use to appeal the all too frequent denials of well-grounded cases to the BVA when in fact this disorder should have been approved at the "VA clerk level." In case you did not know, aft…

diabetes Bva Decision On Aplastic Anemia/myelodysplastic Syndrome Or
Hi to all, Mike sent in a BVA decision on Aplastic Anemia/Myelodysplastic Syndrome or AML. http://www.va.gov/vetapp04/files4/0434293.txt The Board of Veterans Appeals has established the connection and the rating is 100%. As I have indicated those with diabetes and sensorineural hearing loss / tinnitus this is medically connected and Mike says he has a copy of the results of the VA study that established the connection. Mike's e-mail is VET66A@aol.com I believe they have known this since the Seveso, Italy report came out but just have refused to make AML and derivatives automatically associated. Looking at those figures it was clear that A…

What Is Presumption Of Service?
In Oct 05 I filed a claim for presumtion of service of connection for sleep disorders based upon my service in SWA. With the original claim I provided SMR's showing treatment during military service and post service. In Apr 06 VA notified me that they were now developing the claim. In their letter they explained that I needed to provide medical evidence that the disability existed during my military service. I replied to their request explaining that this was a claim for persumption of service connection based upon my service in SWA. However, attached to the original claim in Oct 05 was the evidence they were looking for and that I would re-attached the evidence to…

Question About Process?
Anyone know how long it usually takes a claims center to recieve records from another records holding area. IE another state. They say they have to wait to get the records from the other state before they can do anything with my claim. I thought they had prescedence and that they just fax them over or just look at them and email them or something. Seems like it wouldnt take long for records to get from one to the other since its in house stuff. They told me their just like everyone else that they have to wait due to the paperwork and it could take up to 2 months for them. My claim is strong, and i wondered if they were just waiting to ok it during october which is the…

Vbm
I got my 2005 VBM today, but I had asked for the 2006 edition. I called LexisNexis and they are sending me the 2006 and told me to keep the 2005. Just from looking at a number of topics I see how badly represented I have been by the service organizations. The VA simply ignores most of the rules in CFR 38 until someone catches them. Every one of my decisions has errors.

ptsd Save It All!
Part of this letter on my SMC CUE claim- states that the veteran 'had never filed a Section 1151 claim himself- thus he did not have one pending at time of death'- they are wrong. the dates etc are all wrong in this letter- I am- unfortunately -very used to getting this type of letter from the VA-in the 1990s I got plenty like this one- and will respond- I have right in front of me- Rod's March 1994 Section 1151 claim-it clearly states that he feared the VA had misdiagnosed his PTSD so bad that they probably misdiagnosed other conditions like heart disease and strokes too and he believed they would eventually cause his death. In June 1994 they told him t…
