Need Your Opinion,
I'm not sure this is the right forum, since it is both a medical question, C&P maybe, and/or research question. In my records from when I was a patient for a psychiatric episode, I passed out, apparently while taking a shower, memory getting to this point is gone, caput, gone bye, bye. I was examined and tested with an EEG test twice, once shortly after the incedent, but due to being on psychiatric medication, they removed me long enough to remove the drugs effect as a facter in their findings. It was concluded that the fracture of my nasal bone and subsequate concusion, caused a slow wave form of the frontal lobe to register on the EEG test. Your opinion is a…

Additional Stressor Ltr
I submitted my stressor describing the series of events which I encountered while in "Operation Just Cause" Panama. I was in the AF and didn't have a combat MOS. Nevertheless, I was involved in friendly fire situation and got caught in a fire fight were there were causalities. When I wrote my stressor ltr I didn't mention the actual military units involved because I had no knowledge who they were. Recently, thru Army historians Reports I found out what units were involved. Can I resubmit the stressor ltr indicating who they were. Additionally, I just received a Supplemental Statement of the case, from the RO. In which it states that the stressors couldn't be verif…

Vbm On Cd On Back Order,
:o I'm not a happy camper, I know why they don't tell you it's on back order, But I sure could have used the money to pay for something I had planned on for next month and used next months money to pay for the back ordered VBM CD, that is if it will even be available by then. As it is now, I still have to go to the library to research stuff that would probably be at my finger tips, that is as soon as I get the D#M CD. I hope it is worth the moola, It should come in handy if I have to appeal any decision the VARO comes up with. Of course I am hoping that will not be neccessary. If not, then hopefully I will be able to help other vets with the information I can gleam …

Question About Eating Disorder Sc
My SVO has informed me that the VA frowns on Non-purging Bulimia or compulsive overeating as a SC condition, secondary or otherwise without EXTREME evidence. I feel as though my Psychiactric Practitioners opinion should support such a claim as she has diagnosed this condition related (secondary) to my depression. Is there anyone out there that has had any experience with this situation. I would greatly appreciate input. semper fi

Diagnostic Codes
I posted a great detailed description of what is in the new VBM about this- that went into hyperspace last week- Basically -if your ratings codes on the decisions, even NSC stuff (which could always become SC) you have to challenge these codes if you have filed a claim regarding the disability. My lengthy and provocative post in hyperspace used Rod as an example: His cerebral problems (my IMO says is due to AO) were listed at 90% in a over 100% NSC rating- in a 1997 decision. When I read what the codes were for- on this -they had used a code for dementia yet the statement was 'upper extremity involvement' another one for lower extremeity loss of use of …

Consider this letter to be an official “Notice of Disagreement” (NOD) regarding the following disabilities 1, The rating for gastritis with esophagitis and history of hiatal hernia (claimed as acid reflux) at 10 percent is to low I believe that a evaluation of 30 percent is warranted I have many of the symptoms If you notice the rating decision for chest pain was denied there has been a substantial weight loss from 178 to 163. I believe after talking to my…

Veterans Claim File,
I have just read my copy of my claim file for the umpteenth time. I came across the Staff Psychiatrist, Yes that means he was an MD, he stated in his Closing Summery, his evaluation and in part, pertinent records from my Medical Board Report. It shows the possibility, that I as the patient had developed an endogenous Depression following my discharge from the service as well as the possibility that I may have a circular affective idsorder with the possibility of the I had in fact had a acut psychotic episode as related in my medical records. another part of this report, I knew about, but the VA seemed to ignore: I will quote, "Due to the situational issue presented…
