ptsd Help Needed Please
I am trying to sort through my husband's myriad of health issues and file a claim for increase in SC but there are so many issues and I have been told so many different ways to handle this that now I am totally confused. A retired VSO was helping me sort issues and saw a potential CUE but unfortunately he has passed away prior to telling me the issue. Without getting too winded on this post, a brief breakdown of the stats is: grand mal seizure of unknown origin while in service in 1977 resulting in award of 20% coming out of service by VA. Two yrs later at annual eval sc terminated w/o neurological eval. 20% disability stayed on records but no compensation until 1999 when…

Bilateral Sciatica
Does any one know if sciatica is rated for each side involved or is it just rated total? I am pretty sure that I have it on both sides with mild on right to moderate/moderate severe on left. I will probably have an emg test with my new doctor. If he uses mild and moderate on report, which would the VA use in rating if not separate? Thanks Any Air Force SP's on the site? 81150 Carswell AFB

ptsd Cardio Exam
My VSO signed me up for a cardio exam at the VA sometime in the future, hopefully. I have a stint and take Plavix and an asperin everyday. Who will I see a doctor or a nurse and will they know anything? I hope its not like the other exams that I have had . The VSO said that they may be able to state that my CAD is secondary to my AO/diabeties or my PTSD. I have trouble getting any of my private doctors to make any nexus between these issues and CAD. Inequality Under Va Policy And Procedure
The VA clearly states that the federally funded dental service is not equal in service to qualified disabled or handicapped veteran as shown in their matrix below. Full service is offered to a very specific and limited grouping of veteran. Offering this limited service to some qualified handicapped veterans and full service to other qualified veterans without disability or handicap screams of inequality within the service. What is the difference between being 100% SC and being 99%SC. It is being able to receive “any necessary dental care” or resolving a problem. This statement offers proof that all veterans are not treated equally, that all disabled veterans are not equal…

Va's Dental Program And Title 45 Part 84 Subpart A S/s 84.4
If you could explain to me how the VA gets around the civil rights of a qualified disabled veterans under Title 45 part 84, Subpart A s/s 84.4, when they offer treatment to some non disabled veterans (POW’s) and not to disabled veterans unless they are 100%SC. What happens to all the rest of the disabled veterans? Treatment is unavailable except in exclusive cases, and when available, it is limited, and not the same service as others can receive. The VA proudly admits to this inequality in service. This is policy and not law. under Title 45, part 84, subpart A, § 84.4 Discrimination prohibited. (a) General. No qualified handicapped person shall, on the basis of han…

Filing Claim For Hysterectomy
http://www.veteranprograms.com/id1124.html I am a first gulf war vet who is rated at 70% SC with IU T&P. I have had menstrual problems since before returning from the gulf. According to the above link, this is a presumptive for my group. I had an endometrial ablation April of 2006, it lasted a whole 6 months and the problems returned even worse. I have finally decided to do as the doctors have been wanting me to do since then and have a total hysterectomy, that is the only way the problems will be fixed. I have numerous fibroids which is the main cause of the increased pain and heavy bleeding. My problem is, I am going to have to file the claim on my own as my VSO…
