Should I File?
I have been told by many of the doctors I see that I'm borderline diabetic and to watch my diet. The last readings I had for my blood surgar were 124, 124, 147, and 178. I know I should ask for a A1C test but it will be 2 or 3 months before I see my VA PCP. Should I file a claim for DMII or wait until I get a solid diagnosis. Sorry if this has been answered in a previous post. Jeff

lumbosacral Decision Made On Incomplete Claim
Presently rated 20% Lumbosacral strain with osteoarthritis. 2008 attempted to increase rating/become eligible for individual unemployability. The RO ignored everything I submitted and decided my rating would remain as before as there has not been any loss of ROM in lumbar area. Requested reconsideration based on pain evaluation over 30 years and additional health problems from the meds to treat SC problem. They acknowledged receipt of claim, not listing specific items as I submitted them. I sent back the VCAA requesting 90 day delay. In same package I requested copy of C-File. They sent back letter saying they would send them. Instead of sending me the information…

Can I
I have been out of active duty for 6 months, I am service connected for back and bladder issues. I have been expiriencing some deppression since I am unable to do the physical things I once was able to do. I made a call to the VA and asked if I could file a claim for deppresion secondary to my physical disabilitys. I was told it would be unlikely for me to get anything unless it was in my records while i was on active duty. Well like I said, I did not start expirience this deppression until I got out. I have recently gone to the VA and starting taking deppression meds and I have an appointment with a physc doc soon. Is it possible for me to file for depreesion. I am rea…

Question About Retro
I believe I read in a previous post a few months back, that the NSC pension is deducted from retro and the money goes back to the VA- my question is what happened to the offset money that had been offset with SS /so the combined amount equaled the NSC as it would have been before it was offset? :o Will they take out the lawyers fees first? I know the SS retro did- I am noticing in the decision the $ figures go to 08' there are 11 months of 09 as well but they arent on there-so I'm assuming they will be taking back the 11 months of 09 NSC and then pay the difference? am I close Thanks MrsVet PS; this keeps you busy crunching numbers--have some of you guys …
