Need Advise
This has been a wild week for me, First retired after 20 USA and have kept up with VA physicals and such . Have tried to start a claim and as everyone knows not easy. Do not have a rating yet. The things that I mentioned seem to be not that important to them and of course I get frustrated tring to deal with them. Over the years and while still active I have had headaches and when I look back I was rushed to the er for a extremly bad one at Ft hood. They just kept telling me stress and mortin. I decided to deal with it. After getting out I was admitted several years ago for stomach issues. They could not find a thing. I know no why I had a brain tummor. Which in a few hour…

All Claims Sent Back To Development
Very up setting to find all my claims were sent back to development. Last friday my biggest claim with my neck strain flex motion 0-10 % that would be rated a minimun of 30% sent back, today a smaller claim for acid reflex sent back. I was expecting that I would be receiving an brown envelope in a few weeks-now back to square one. I think the development board or someone didn't review this folder after setting for months and sent it straight to the rating board where it was sit on it for another month. The 800 asked if I received another letter-no-then they said it is an internal matter subjective to however long it takes for them to act on it. If this is like what o…

Uncharacterized / Entry Level Separation (Els)
Background: My Wife (before we met she had enlisted) did a delayed entry into the US Navy in Aug of 2001. She took her oath of enlistment on Jan 15th 2002. She completed bootcamp and most of her A-School. However, on May 15th she was discharged. Total TIS (not including delayed entry if that even counts) was 120 or 121 days (do they count the last day?) On her DD-214 it states: Uncharacterized / Entry level separation (ELS). Reason for discharge was "Personality Disorder". Reentry code is RE-4 (not eligible to re-enlist ever in any branch of service). Odd note was Decorations, medals, etc authorized was None. But this was after Sep 11, 2001 and she did hav…

Artheritis Question (I Am Sc For It)
Hey got a question for you that have artheritis. I went to the beach for ten days and I do not know what it was but my back and knees did not hurt like they do at home about 1000Ft above sea level. Is it being at sea level or the heat or what? I know I am leaving the south this fall to stay away from the cold but I was really surprised as this was the second time this year that i have felt better on the coast. Adios and have a good day

What Do You Suggest
Well big yellow envelope came in today. WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE? WHAT MORE EVIDENCE ARE THEY LOOKING FOR? I DON"T UNDERSTAND> OK the reason for decision says that imo dr xxxxxxxx noted that i suffered a cervical spine injury which resulted in left foot drop with one hundred percent loss of use of the leg and cervical radiculopathy with seventy five percent loss of use of the right arm> Then they have medical physical statement filled out by VA doc where he states I have left foot drop. Then they dont mention my DDD and claim there is no evidence that I have loss of use of the left lower extremity. ?????? Then they don't mention the MRI that shows the spi…

Few Questions
I am 40% Service Connected Disability from back injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident that occured while on Active Duty in 1994. I have sciatic problems that begin from point of injury and shoot down my legs. I only filed for this issue in 2006 and I got 20% for back and 10% for each leg where the sciatic nerve pain is shooting down. My question is, during my examination, the doc told me that I have noticable arthiritisin my back that was unusual for a 31 y/o (35 now). He said that it could possibly be from the motor vehicle injury. When I got my decision back, I was rated for the conditions described above but nothing about Arthiritis. Is the arthiritis …
