diabetes What Ischemic Heart Disease
Ischemic heart disease, as a new AO presumptive, will certainly bring many more Agent Orange claims into the VA system. With proof of AO exposure these claims should be very easy for the VA to rate and award. The biggest problem with these claims that I foresee is that the VA will not have adequate evidence to determine IHD as many vets with IHD might have CAD or CHF in their records as well as other medical terms that in fact mean IHD diagnosis -but maybe the VA could misinterpret this.Or a C & P doctor could opine inaccurately on this AO disease. I was talking to notable Vets lawyer Doug Rosinki a few weeks ago ago who had answered a vets que…

diabetes Diabetes Glucose
I used this printout as evidence for my recent awarded claim. The word diabetes or DMII or diabetes mellitus never appeared once in my husband's records. I had to prove he had diabetes mellitus evident back to 1988 ,the VA misdiagnosed it and he died due to IHD and CVAs due to AO diabetes: http://www.aafp.org/afp/981015ap/mayfield.html This gives the ADA glucose values for diabetes that are found on VA Blood Chem reports.

diabetes Diabetes Secondary Conditions
Can someone help me with a list of the conditions that are secondary to AO Diabetes? I had the list, but I lost it & can't seem to search here or anywhere to locate the conditions. Could guess about half of them but need entire list to pass along to a fellow Vietnam Vet. Might have been on the Silver Rose site but last time I tried that site it is down. Thanks, Don Evans

Children And Widows Of Vietnam Veterans Exposed To Ao Connecting
Hi, I am a child of a Vietnam Veteran who was exposed to Agent Orange. I have found a great resource on Facebook called "Agent Orange Legacy" and wanted to share this resource with others who need to connect. There is constant discussions on this forum on the affects of Agent Orange on the Children and Grand Children of vets exposed to Agent Orange. Please share your story as this group is extremely active in fighting for Research of Children of Vietnam Veterans exposed to Agent Orange. The more we connect with each other, the louder our voice is, and the harder it is not to be heard... In loving memory of my Father Traci
