ptsd Ao Widows.widowers
http://www.nvlsp.org/Information/ArticleLi...%20Compensation The date that any past denied DIC claim was filed as well as other considerations determine the retroactive EED for claims of DIC under Nehmer. I hope any survivor of a deceased veteran who had Parkinson, hairy cell B leukemia, or Ischemic heart disease listed as cause of death or contributing to their death on the veteran's death certificate and had exposure to AO will promptly re-open thier DIC claim. Although the VA is supposed to seek out these denied survivors who might fall under the new presumptives- they should definitely re-open the claim on a 21-4138. Although these are re-opened claims the…

Medical Records
I was in the US Army from 11/67 to 08/73. I happen to ask the PCP if I could see my records, he said that clinics did not have previous records of personnel they were treating, just local records. I requested a copy of my service medical records, they are only records from the last 18 months of service. I enquired as to why only a partial record. I was told by someone in St. Louis record center that that all there is. I am missing almost 3 and a half years of records. I guess my question is this common? There were hearing tests showing hearing loss, ect. Do I have any recourse because I was denied hearing loss and tinnius claim due to helicopter turbine noise and acco…

ptsd Agent Orange
I am working with a RVN Vet, that has tremendous skin discoloration and had a baby that was deformed in its lower extremeties, and was dead when borned He always felt it was because of Agent Orange. He went to the Veterans Clinic in 1974, but kind of got lip service, I think many can relate to the early days of the Agent Orange Crisis Can anyone give me guidance on cases in the past and where to start with this VET I have the PTSD covered, but need to learn for him and others about Agent Orange

hypertension Ischemic Ao Vets
Bingo: we might need this case. The BVA is not opining here as solely specific to the veteran. They have made a statement of medical fact. “The next question under 38 C.F.R. § 3.309© is whether or not the appellant has ischemic heart disease. While the appellant has had a long history of problems with hypertension and hypertensive cardiovascular disease, more recent evidence shows that he also has coronary artery disease and arteriosclerotic heart disease. As noted above, coronary artery disease and arteriosclerotic heart disease are synonymous with ischemic heart disease. In other words, for VA purposes, there is current medical…

Rating Ao Ischemic
http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/cfr_2008/julqtr/38cfr4.104.htm ??????????????????????????????????????? I dont even see the term ischemic heart disease in all of the cardiovascular ratings- from Schedule of Ratings -so this is quite concerning to me. I assume they will give Diagnostic codes and ratings under the Atherosclerosis percentages. But have no idea- This new presumptive also opens the door for secondary HBP claims- as this type of heart disease can definitely cause HBP. Any thoughts?
