Chuck, first it was a private Heart Dr. the only stress test with dye was before I had the stent put in. I have not been given a stress test since Sept,2012.

I put in for AO claim back in about 8 months ago due to my IHD. In the claim I also asked for TDIU. Well today I got my Dr. report and I need some in put from the expert on here.
1.Coronary Atherosclerosis of native coronary artery---ICD CODE 414.01
2.CARDIAC functional assessment---9.4 METS achieved
3.Left Ventricular fraction (LVEF) 60% DATE OF TEST 9/25/12, after the stent was put in.
4.FUNCTION IMPACT and REMARKS,, Does the veterans IHD impact the veteran ability to work.
Dr.checked YES, then he writes unable to do any kind of strenuous work.
So what are your thoughts about this DBQ report?
thanks

wishing the best for u on this. I am 70% total, (50% PTSD), and I go to the mental clinic once a month on vet to vet meeting. I have regular meeting with my head Dr. every 90 days . And I take my meds, just being a good little boy following orders. I have a claim in for TU, and AO for my heart and I had the DBQ filled out by my heart Dr. . I am waiting on the new C&P, I sure hope mind goes as well as yours. Most of my days are sitting here in the house or wandering around the yard. I really don't get out that much.

The 5 year rule is still there. I am also 70 % and applied for SSDB and was told I waited to late, it was after the 5 years of not working by 2 months. I was diagnosed last year for PTSD, but that did not have a barring on their decision. So as other has stated if you can get it go for it. you earned it and paid for it and you deserve it.

Wow Berta, you continue to amaze me with your knowledge of the VA, but now Spanish to, YOU ROCK!

It was a questionnaire asking if I had ant more evidence to support my claim. I have a claim in for IHD, matter of fact the VA actually suggested I should consider putting the claim in. On e benefit it has moved to gathering evidence so I am thinking they are asking if I had anything else to send in.

Hello all vets, I need some help. I got a VA form ( don't remember the form # ) to fill out to add anything to support my claim. This form has gotten lost some how. I am asking if it is on e-benefits or does anyone know where I can get one fast. I am going to my local VA ref. this Tuesday and see if he can help

I have it and that was the icing on the cake to get my rating for hearing loss and tinnitus. My VSR gave me a copy and he file it along with my claim. I have two different copies, one which states this what the very high ranking officers recommended.

I just can't figure out why the VA would hire someone like this to take care of our veterans. Georgia papa I wish you luck with the Dr. Also when you see her ask her if she also work at the Columbus Vamc .I will not go back to her, if I have to I will pay out of my pocket to get a good eye examine.

lil rob you and I both are lost. I applied for SSD and was told I did not apply for it within 5 years after being out of work. I asked if it matters if I was recently diagnosed with PTSD AND RATED 50% disability was that taken into accountability. There response was I make to much money for disability. I need some very good help here. I can go and re file, but will it help?

Hi GEORGIAPAPA, from Georgia pawpaw. I call last year to make an appointment to get my eyes checked , in about 90 days it was schedule. I went had the eye examinenation and the glasses was made. However when they came I could not see out of them. I went back the VA clinic to see eye Dr. I had to wait a little, but when I saw her she said I need to adjust to them. I knew this was a piece of crap. I left there and went to Wal mart and got me some new reading glasses. BTW the eye Dr. took the number off my old pair of WAL MART reading glasses to make the new one. I later found out that this eye dr. has been fired from several eye clinics around town. So the VA picks her up as there eye Dr. Just make you wonder about the care we are getting

That is what I get when I pulled it up. what going on? are they updating progress for us, or just updating the computer? I just wished I knew where I stand on my claim.

Well here in Ga. I went to my tag office to get a BRONZE STAR tag(s). I was told they was not authorized. I had from a friend that they was. When I got home I wnt tpo the Georgia veterans benefit web page and saw it was. I call that office and the Veteran rep gave me the code and even sent me the link to print it off along with others. The next day I went back up to get my new tags, once again I told them I wanted 2 bronze star tags, again they said it was not authorized. I say yes it was and here is the proof. I showed them what I printed off they looked so surprise that I had that info before they did. I allow them to copy what I had. I was charged for the tags, but I later found that it is free for the first one and $25.00 manufacturing it and $25.00 tag fee. I have tried to print that part out but my dang printer went out. I will get that fixed and then reprint it and try to get my money back. So those who have questions on your state benefits, go to your state web page and look what is available to you and don't be afraid or a shame to ask for it. YOU EARNED IT, GET IT!

All veterans can get a card for the VA. they use it as a ID card when you check in. On the bottom of your card does it say service connected?

well cham1968, I live near Columbus, GA. and the test was done by a QTC contract Psychologist in Columbus Ga. My C&P for hypertension was done by a QTC doctor in an emergency care clinic or in Columbus Ga. The Doctor in the emergency care clinic was a major in the army and he was the Post Major General doctor when he was in the army . BOTH RE RETIRED NOW

all I can say is remember the dead beat Politian when election come around in your area. The only way to beat them is to vote them out with someone who is maybe a vet or at least very concerned about us.

Thanks Philip, I am not trying to piece meal it up. I take what ever I can get. If it is 100%TDIU then OK. I do have a claim in to bump my PTSD up. And with AO claim in for IHD I am hoping that gets a good rating for that also. Right now I am at 50% PTSD, 10% TINNITUS, 20% PER EAR hearing lost. = 70%.
Thanks guys for all your inputs.

I guess no one has read and has any answers for me, thanks even if you just looked at it
-
good luck on both, I was given a C&P by a QTC and he never went into my stressor or what I did while in VN. He stated he knew as he has treated many dog handlers and knew there stressor. I was awarded 50% for PTSD.

This is so bad and sick, how and why do people think they can get by with it is be young me. Most on here are fighting the VA for compensation and medical help. This just makes it so hard for us.

thanks Carlie, & jbassar,
Well as you may have guessed this wasn't what I was hoping for. I was hoping since he checked yes, then added no strenuous work would help me out. I am 65 YO now, and was mandatory retired from the Fed Govnt as a fire fighter due to age (57) so don't know what kind of work I could do since my SC FOR HEARING IS 50 % AND PTSD 50% but thanks to all.
