Ok here is my break down:
20% per ear hearing loss =40%
10% tinitus =10%
50% PTSD =50%
I guess this is how I got 70 %
thanks for asking, sure wishe it was 80% but just file for AO that they said I SHOULD. So I also add hypertension undere controlled by VA Dr. with meds. plus angina for heart conditions, plus for unemployabilly. So now is the long wait and see

thanks John for the encouragement, but do you really think I have the possibillty of 100% with only one stent and on meds for that, and have angina attacks and on daily meds, and high blood pressure and hyprtension and of course on meds for those also.

well I got a ratingf on PTSD today, here is the kicker, they acknowledge I have been exposed to AO and it is a presumption of my IHD. and I should file a claim. WOW they are telling to file! Ok I will tomorrow, we will see where this goes. I had one stent placment, on meds for that, I also on daily nitrate for angina, also hypertension, meds for that. Any opinions on what they will do?

yahoooooo, I got the brown envelope today, I was awarded 50% for PTSD, plus the 50% I am give me a rating of 70%. I was denied % for the hypertension. They said in review of my treatment record they see I was a VN veteran on the ground ws was expose to the herbicide AO and I could file for that on IHD. OK I will do that tomorrow. Thanks to all my brothera and sisters on here for all the help you provided.

Thanks ASKNOD, I will go Monday to my VSO and file for AO, I think I may need an IMO to support my claim. If so I can get one.

In one of my earlier post, I talked about having a stent and the new heart meds for angina. I have 3 claims in now which has move on ebenefits. So my question If I put in for IHD as a persumptive of AO, will that delay the claims in now, or should I wait till they are resolved before I do that?

thanks, this valueable information. I had a stent put in last Sept. THE STRESS TEST DID NOT SHOW ANYTHING ABNORMAL, but the Dr. did a left heart caterzation and found a 95% blockage and one with 40%. I am on PLAVIC for that, last week I has several angina attack, pain in left shouder and sharpe pain running down my left arm. We went to the DR office and now I am on daily isosorbide to control the angina attacks. I also carry the little bottle of nitorgisian(sp) in case I have a heart atteck. I have not applied for C&P. I have 3 claims in now and I don't want to stall the decision on these by adding another claim. I just hope I can get tese off the pending stage to compensation stage, so I can apply for AO exposion claim.

hang in there soldier, the wait is long, but well worth the wait. When in pain, get help, when the feeling get bad, call for help or even come on here and talk to some one, like Berta, she is a bright person with a heart of gold. I hope you get HELP AND FAST

I respect all veterans especilly the 100% veterans, but why stop there. I think any SC veterans should be able to fly on space available flights. We have paid the price as others, maybe not as severe, but we served to. If this isn't agreed to that ok, I respect all opinions. so hang in there, it a long fight with the VA, and Congress

I know, that all I have to thses days is hold on and wait. so glad something was done even so small as it was.. I als wish you the best, hang in there. Well I going to bed , been up since 340 am this morning, I had a very bad nightmare last night, could no go back to sleep.

Well I think it is some what a success. I looked in Ebenefit and saw this ; Claim status went from gathering evidence to preparation of decision, so I guess it moving at snail pace. Also the estimated claim conpletion date moved also. It was 10/2012 to 2/27/2013, now it is 2/27/2013 to 5/14/2014. I think this is just another way to slow down the process. any ideas here?

This may be the wrong place to post this question, if so, please move it where it need to go. The question is; my ex DnL is 100% disable from the AIR FORCE. she is need od dental work, one of her molar is giving her a lot of pain, she is 100% dew to her kidneys. they are shot. I really would like to help her out, she is taking care of my grand kids, but being disable also funds are limited. Thanks to all for all the help you share.

Thanks Ms. Berta for that information, I may need it when I file for AO causing my IHD. I see the III Corp was the worst area for spraying. I was there at CuCi as a dog handler and working the III corp jungle and rubber plantations.

Some very good points 71M10, the tax payers are always picking up the tab for other, but us veterans was promise to take care of us if we served. Thanks for your servis

HARDY seem fair he gets only 87 months in jail, that only 7.25 years for 6.7 millions he has stolen from the Government, that almost a million a year. I think he and his gang (family) needs to serve at least 25-35 years behind bars. I have seen many serve lot more time than that for a lot lesser crime.
sorry just had to vent on this one, just not fair.
