Navy4life reacted to mtmorical in Error code 50
Thanks for info all!
What does PFD and PDA mean?
went for prep for decisions to review of evidence but I didn't get a status update note or anything.
Yep still can't get in but a different error message now???
i start pre-law in the fall and I am seriously considering transitioning it to advocacy law because this is crazy. Never asked them for one thing, ever, the redetermined my 10% we didn't request it, but the one time they are jacking me around. Just awful. Not mentioned I got DVT while in service and with the scar, numbness, and associated leg weakness they never rated that either. After this experience I'm done

Navy4life reacted to broncovet in Error code 50
The VA has paid millions to incompetent, but politicially well connected contractors in an attempt to make ebenefits work.
However, they used to have monkeys at RO's flip coins instead. Heads is "yes", Tails is "no" and if the coin lands "on edge", then you get your benefits timely. However, only about 1 in 10,000,000 ever get the coin to land on edge.
Va has discountinued the "monkey" program because, even tho its more reliable than the current system, the well connected contractors complain that it hurts their income, so its been discontinued, and its back to the less reliable current system.

Navy4life got a reaction from Gastone in C&P Exam for PTSD increase - might have backfired!
Well UPDATE on this thread!!! My thread is a PRIME example to NOT draw conclusions from a C&P exam!!! I was granted 50% from 30% yesterday. I was completely shocked and happy at the same time. I can't wait to get the decision letter to see the reasoning behind it.

Yes I will post it for sure!! I got PTSD 30 to 50. Got the 100% temp conv. and the ankle stayed the same at 10% but with 0% scars now.
Still waiting on NOD for other results.

A Win is always good. When you get the Award letter, could you redact & post the Decision Specifics?
What exactly got you the bump from 60 to 70% SC?

Navy4life got a reaction from Vync in Got DAV letter and so surprised - got 70% and got 100% temporary convalescence
So my DAV rep just called. I am so happy!!! I not only got an increase to 70%, I got 100% temporary convalescence for my broken right foot due to my left ankle! I am so amazed! I was told so many times that there was no way I would get the 100% because the right foot was not S/C, well I did! They not only gave me the 100% for 3 months because my left ankle caused the right foot injury, I got 3 months of SMC-House Bound for three months as well!
My NOD is still pending for my right foot s/c, right ankle, and left toe condition.
My effective date is January 4th, 2016 for my new 70% rating.
My three months of 100% temporary convalescence and SMC House Bound is effective July to September 2015.
I truly believe the IMO from my VA Podiatrist sealed my fate for the 100% temporary convalescence.
Keep fighting Vet's!!!

Navy4life reacted to broncovet in Interesting regarding my FDC claim/NOD
We can only take a WAG. Try looking at the AB8 letter..its more reliable than the rest of ebenefits. Ebenefits is about as reliable as, well as your VSO is at returning calls.

Keep up the hope for a favorable outcome, hopefully soon! Great news on the 1st part!

Navy4life got a reaction from gs106 in FDC finished in record time
My FDC claim finished! Filed on 1/12/16 for increase. Had C&P exams 2/4/16. Went to PFD in February, then last week PFN, back to PDA today, to closed this afternoon.
I requested PTSD increase, left ankle increase, and 100% Temp Convalescence for right foot due to left ankle.
Well....I went from 60% to 70%! I got the PTSD to 50% which I have no idea how I did with the report I read. I got no change to left ankle other than adding additional issues under it to include scars 0%, and I am not sure about the temporary convalescence??? I don't know how to see that or not?
My NOD is still pending for right foot/right sprain/left toe condition.
All and all I am happy and still holding out hope for a good outcome from the DRO hearing....

Navy4life got a reaction from Gastone in Interesting regarding my FDC claim/NOD
No worries. I had an informal not on the record. DRO said 60 days for decision. Since my FDC just finished I'm hoping the NOD is ready to be completed.
