  1. I am not IU... I am 100% schedular... but if it was me I would download the form each year from internet and fill it out and send it in through USPS mail green card certified and keep a copy for my records. Otherwise it gives them an open invitation to reduce your disability.

  2. Just remember now that you are in the VA system for treatment you can start building up treatment records for stuff you were denied for.  Also consider getting an Independent Medical Opinion for stuff you were denied for. We all get our service connections and percentages in small bites as VA gives piecemeal. I started off 30% then went to 40% then 70% then 80% and finally now I am 100% P&T. It is a never ending battle. Be tough and resolve to never give up!

  3. Congrats! Your claim is just another example to others trying to get service connected that we get our successes in small increments. But we will take them because we are not here for one small battle but to win the war with VA!

  4. Not sure? Perhaps someone else can answer. I always thought the code at the top of page on right side identified who was working on your claim and if you respond to put the code on the response letter so it gets back to the person who is working your claim? Sort of an identifier. That is how I responded back but I could be wrong. I am talking about the paper snail mail you get. I am not sure about that for Iris. I just used my SSN#
