Do you think that all sexual pedators need viagra. Sure there are some but the percentage that require viagra is probably small. I'm not a person that hasn't been effected. My mother was raped when I was 13 and my wife was raped when she was 14. That was long before viagra. Rapes are going to occure with or without viagra. Also, you don't understand that loosing the sexual part of a relationship is very stressfull. You SAY you love sex, but it sounds to me its not important. I look at the sex predators that have to register and I see mostly younger healthy looking men. A man does NOT need an erection to rape or molest their victoms. The people that are on anti-deppresants like myself need viagra. Can you imagine being depressed for what ever reason and then loosing yet another thing in your life. Having erectile dysfunction can cause a person to stop taking their anti-depressant medication causing all sorts of problems. suicide homicide. Stopping people from getting viagra is the wrong answer. You have your opinion and I have mine. My wife who was raped at 14 is a mental health nurse and agrees that viagra is not the problem.also should the va do back ground checks on the veterans it gives narcotic pain medications to make sure they haven't had drug problems.

You obviously don't understand a male point of view. also, some of us would like to have families. sex isn't just recreational. I know a few people that are addicted to prescription pain killers, they have a couple beers and a couple vicodins and then drive. That is also dangerous and should be looked at. I also don't understand your point about std's. People with std's are frequently people that sleep with multiple partners. Its kind of difficult to sleep with many partners with 4 little blue pills a month. I just don't understand your logic. I need viagra and my wife would be very angry if i didn't use viagra. without it ,it causes marital problems which is also hard on everybody including children. VIAGRA is not a evil drug.

when i recieved my disability it was for 150%. mine was about $1600 for myself and $800 for the family maximum for a total of $2400.00. I don't know when they use the 180%, unless its for people with low income such as $600.00 + 180% just not sure.

I live in a rural part of western nebraska. The veterans out here would rather be in the va nursing home rather than the civilian homes. the vets home here is absolutely great, its clean, the staff is wonderful. I don't know if its because were out here in the middle of nowhere or because its a state va nursing home, ran by the state instead of the federal va system.

somebody with more information will come along, but this is what I have. Yes you can file a 1151 claim and draw monthly compensation. You can also file a ftca claim and get a lump sum payment. But the VA will offset your 1151 monthly compensation until the VA recoups your ftca settlement/ award.

One other thing. the va only gives me 4 little blue pills a month. What about the other 26 days of the month? I just got a letter today that said the VA is discontinuing viagra and is going to levitra. Has anyone used levitra and if so, does it work as good as viagra?

doesn't everybody wonder if the va regional offices and the bva is starting to question Dr. Bash's IMO'S. I personaly think they are looking at his opinions as a $2,000 pay off. they see hundreds of these opinions roll across their desks every year all in favor of the veterns. people might start thinking of using imo's from other dr's. i'm not saying dr. bash isn't good at what he does, but too many imo's from one dr. looks fishy. also look at the web sight www.vamalpractice.info. if you read that first page you can see were the va reads their sight. if the va reads that site you know they read this sight. the va can see were people are always recommending dr. bash for imo's. i had a trainer at work write a very small statement supporting my claim and that showed up in my soc. you're saying a probably large imo didn't make it into your soc. think about it. i believe the va is no longer going to take dr. bash's imo's as absolute truth and are going to probably do to other people like they did to you.

since i sent my nod in, my claim has been bouncing back and forth from the bva, amc, ro and its only been 8 years, thats right 8 years. and still there is no decision. they still say its at the ratings board. this time its been at the ratings board for 6 months. any solutions. people say using your congressmen could slow things down 3 months, well doesn't sound too bad since its been, what 96 months. i call the appeals management center everybody there knows me. they don't understand whats taking so long, all they say is call back. they use to give a suspense date that my claim was projected to be done. now they never mention a suspense date.

i had a c&p dr. say that i have a pacemaker and my tonsils were normal. never had a pacemaker and had my tonsils out 25 years ago. your not alone, i know how you feel. i even had the varo say i put a claim in for allergies to cats and a deviated septum. i never claimed these conditions. i think they got someone elses claim file mixed in with mine.

not complaining about what we get, i'm complaing about senator craig's comments that we shouldn't get what we get. he thinks veterans get iu because they can't find work. some of us had jobs that we lost because of our sc disabilities. i worked as a engineer for the union pacific railroad for 11 years. but because i missed 160 days a year for the last 5 years i had no choice but to file for iu.

senator craig from idaho thinks that everybody is employable and there shouldn't be iu. OK, thats why i gave up a $80,000 a year job with good benefits for $2,500 a month with no benefits for my family. if i could work i would. it wouldn't be so bad if the va would grant p&t, but of course that will be a few years and by that time the kids will be raised and champva will be useless.

i was awarded 80% sc and 100% iu june 2005. was given a future exam in 2 years, june 2007. if my conditions stay the same or get worse, what are the chances of being awarded p&t? also, having a future exam in only 2 years rather than say 5 years, is that good sign of being awarded p&t after 2 years?
