  2. You can also check his disabilities which are listed in VA.gov/ebenefits.com and see if there is a change to them.
  3. The VA DBQs are listed on this link. https://www.benefits.va.gov/compensation/dbq_publicdbqs.asp
  4. Where I am located we have three C&P contract companies and sometimes get the exams done in less than two weeks. The VA hospital doesn't do them and I am glad because if they did you would wait over a month and the backlog would grow. Contracting out is a great thing despite the sky is falling crowd's opinions.
  5. What kind of shenanigans are you expecting? If you are gainfully working, you are not unemployable. They are many ways to contribute without employment.
  6. I agree with BrokenSoldier, the amount of ill informed conspiracy theories makes me laugh. I now use HADIT more for entertainment than factual information.
  7. You should find your county VSO and set up an appointment to discuss your benefits with them. They should be familiar with BDD claims and work with you through the process. In my opinion, this claim will set the foundation for others that may occur in the future and you want to get it completed correctly.
  8. Colorado specifically states you cannot be TDIU for property tax exemption.
  9. The letter states it will not change your VA benefits and your numbers don't match with what is in the letter. We need more information to assist.
  10. Decision letter will state why your claim was denied, you can then work to overcome that. Many decision letters now note favorable findings which can work in your favor. Don't just blindly keep filing like many will say on here. Fill in the gaps that the VA noted to make your claim complete.
  11. You don't need one at 60% you need all the others to equal at least 60%.
  12. Find an accredited VSO with VBMS access and they can assist in completing all the necessary forms.
  13. Get a VSO with VBMS access and they can look into it for you.
