    Thats what I'm reading and getting too hurryup. It is inferred that TDIU is P&T. Looking for paperwork right now lol.

    So let me get this straight! I am TDIU now. I should file for chap 35 benefits, I will be denied by the VA then get it on appeal to the BVA.

    I stopped working June 08 but prior to that I worked the same job for four years and two of those years worked a second job, will SS go back to the date I last worked or start claim date from date of filing? My military service ended in 99.thanks allan.

    congrats on you win, am I reading correctly? It is implied by the BVA that you are P&T once you are granted TDIU, and all we have to do is ask for CHAMPVA AND DEA, and appeal to BVA.

    There are small gaps in there due relocation but I've worked what you have said five of the last ten. So I should not even send in the SSI forms?

    I last worked May of 08, but have worked going back to 15yrs old. So I would think I have the work history I hope. thanks for your reply.

    I have questions about social security but I want to use the right terminology before I ask. Should I be applying for both SSI or SSD I am recieving VA benefits at 100% TDIU does this disqualify me for either or both? Also I have the paperwork for the determination division what should I say and how do I word it from my friends part. thanks

    I was awarded IU based on what the CP doc said as well as what was in my progress notes from the VA psych docs I can upload the finding and decision if you'd like me to.

    I had my cp exams in March, April, and June; the award came the end of August. Congrats on you P&T atlaturne.

    careful notorious you're dating yourself lol, but i wish for those days too, whatever happened to real customer service, not the quick sale and look out for the fine print, kinda like the VA B)

    Can two vets claim the same dependent? I am getting married in the next few months and I will be adding a child to my dependent list, however this child is already claimed by another vet who receives benefits, can we both claim the same child?

    finally scrapped netgear and called my ISP and they sent me a box that hooks up my pc and the laptop. Did it all in about 20 minutes, thanks to all who gave advise. I will say best buy is now on my list and they won't get another dime from me.

    I submitted my IU claim after the VA sent me paperwork to do so I had initially just requested an increase in rating. It was four months from the time they asked me for paperwork to the final decision, I have never had that experience with them in the nine years I've been fighting them. Hopefully the times they are a changing.

    I was 40% when I started VocRehab and I was ready to go by the next semester, have you been tested yet? It wouldn't hurt to call and check in.

    You are so right, I do wonder if since she is in KY would she be able to use their education waiver or would I have to be a resident of that state. I will call tomorrow and ask. If thats not the case then she can go to school for free without the stipend of course or at least until i'm P&T, which I will discuss with my psychiatrist my next appt. Thanks for all your support and advice everyone.
