Great information Pete992.....I was wondering if my new rating would be affected by this idiotic

shutdown(if it happens).

According to the guide, all new compensation and pension claims processing would cease. All DEA

processing would cease. If I read correctly, this surely throws a monkey wrench in my case.

I think that as soon as a military spouse with kids goes on TV and says she/he can't pay bills due to this shutdown the people in congress better run for cover. I think this is brinksmanship and a political stunt. It is really an outrage. I propose a 20% paycut to all those in congress starting Friday at midnight. I think you will be OK Sidney.

Thanks for the update.

The brochure shows the 1-800-827-1000 number as being impacted and not being impacted.

Personally - I have always felt the 800 number was impacted.

Fecal (compensation) impaction is a serious complication of

constipation

(cheap weasels) in which the stool hardens (claim is denied)

and can no longer be eliminated with normal bowel movements (must be re-opened with N&M evidence) .

Surgery (a DRO hearing or Form 9 - Substantial Appeal) may be required if aggressive measures are not taken

to try and eliminate the stool (denial) .
