Question

As NVLSP's statement says- it is essential that all advocates( all vet reps, NSO, etc)
take quick action on this new situation.
If you are Blue Water AO vet you are within the Nehmer Class Action lawsuit already won by NVLSP.
If your vet rep does not understand Nehmer
go to NVLSP website and read or copy the Court Order and Stipulation of Nehmer.
Beverly Nehmer was a widow who NVLSP represented for an AO death of her husband.
Another widow NVLSP represented just won something big in 2003-
forget what-
NVLSP told me when I succeed in award-since VA won't want to pay me the additional 12 years of DIC-
if I have problems with that they will help me.
My claim was screwed up by a vet rep-that changed last week- regardless the VA itself knows it is a big AO claim that can affect ALL potential AO widows under similiar Section 1151 circumstances as I am.
It is to the VA's substantial benefit not to properly award my claim. My award will affect other AO claimants.
AO widows will NOT allow the VA to get away with anything.

When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief
Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was
simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we."
Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.
