Question

I have been using secure message to my PC all the time but now

all my messages goes to a nurse or somebody and then they send me a reply

we will forward this to your PC doctor.

1) why would I use a secure message to my doctor just to have someone else read it??

2) this got to some law for this right???

3) a secure message should be between you and the doctor and if anyone else read it is this secure???

4) it got to be a law for this kind of crap isn't it ??? I just cant find it

it makes sense to me. that the nurse would go through the emails, pull relevant files, triage them and then present them to the doctor for orders. i think the nurse would be considered part of your health care team.

I am writing my memoirs and would love it if you could help a shipmate out and look at it.

I've had a few challenges, perhaps the same as you. I relate them here to demonstrate that we can learn, overcome, and find purpose in life.

The stories can be harrowing to read; they were challenging to live. Remember that each story taught me something I would need once I found my purpose, and my purpose was and is HadIt.com Veterans.

then why would it be consider a secure message. My messages has always gone straight

to the doctor.  Not anymore it goes to who knows who. I maybe complaining about the nurse who is not my doctor.

Then the message should be secure to the nurse who I don't know.

Not only does it go thru someone else, it becomes part of your medical record, you can track the correspondence on healthevet.gov. Any VA staff that have access to your records also has the ability to view your "secure" messages..

this ant right because when you do a message it says the doctor who ever he is

it not to who ever read it first Its not a public thing if it is a secure message. I message you do everyone read it??

All I know is that the VA clinic I use routes secure messaging to the Dr's Nurse. How, I don't know.

I'll usually get an answer from the nurse that it will be referred to the Dr.

Any answer is usually from the nurse, but on rare occasion, from the Dr.
